This Ahwahnee, California Vacation Rental Property is situated in the Sierra Mountains and is 22 miles away from the Southern Entrance of Yosemite National Park. Very peaceful, with nature all around us, the lodge had everything we needed, loved the use of the barbecue.

A beautiful house on above a gently flowing river, a short drive from Oakhurst, a town not far from Yosemite National Park (about an hour by car to the Valley). A generous room with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, an excellent, well-equipped bathroom, and all in total silence. Really nice view over the river (if the room is available) - it rained/snowed heavily while we were there, and were delighted to enjoy the peace of this room during it.

Situated in Mariposa and only 48 km from Yosemite Arch Rock Entrance, Cozy Cub Cabin, brand new home near Yosemite features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We really loved this cabin, it was comfortable and spacious in a beautiful area. It’s approximately an hour driving to and from Yosemite valley along the Merced river which is a very pretty drive. It was really nice to get back here and relax after a day of hiking.

A recently renovated holiday home, Bear Paw Cabin new construction near Yosemite offers accommodation in Mariposa. Loved the location, kitchen and bathrooms had all the essentials and some lovely extras. I loved the map on the wall where each guest can pin where they come from, a very cute idea. Special thanks also to Theresa and Glen for being such fantastic hosts. They were highly communicative and helpful.

We have traveled far and wide and can give this verdict with a clear conscience: the vacation home, with its very tasteful furnishings, all amenities, the wonderful location and the magnificent view is unique. Communication with the hosts is uncomplicated, attentive and helpful at all times.

Located in Oakhurst, within 20 km of Yosemite South Entrance, Apple Belle Cabin Mountain Escape offers accommodation with air conditioning. Oh, my word, how to describe this most perfect property. From Oakhurst, you turn right off the main road and wind along what feels like a private side road to get there. We saw California grouse, Stellar jays, a family of wild turkeys, a skunk, deer, fabulous little bats, the list goes on.... The cabin is set on the side of the mountain so the front deck is raised on stilts; you honestly feel like you're living in the tree canopy with the most amazing views across the valley. In the morning the early sun slants through the trees casting long lazy shadows and you feel instant peace; any travel stress just melts away. Incredibly well equipped, we had everything we needed and more and the very friendly host was on hand whenever we needed to answer questions for us. It is a great base to explore Bass Lake (we hired a boat - great fun) and Yosemite National Park. But all our party - 2 parents, two teenagers (19 &16) and a Grandma wished we had booked an extra few days just to stay here. I cannot recommend it highly enough - we have travelled all over the world and this is one of the most special properties we have ever stayed in.
