Only monkeys, birds, fish, all of which can get noisy. It was so nice for us that we extended one night. We will be happy to come back. Sophia made fresh breakfast and was always responsive. The lodge is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning. Every day we saw giraffes and different types of buck, wither from our villa or on our way ito and from the lodge. We also loved the resident warthogs and the little meerkats (which we got to feed). The staff are wonderful and Axel did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable. The villa is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. A lovely breakfast was served every morning and the whole experience was just amazing. Will definitely come back!

The lodge has individual chalets, very separated from each other. It offers a privacy and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the chalets are comfortable, have a fridge filled with refreshments, WIFI is superb. But best of all is the spectacular view. You can sit on the terrace of your chalet and keep watching the beautiful landscape, mountains, valleys and spectacular stars at night. There is a family style dinner served in the evening and a very pleasant breakfast. The place also has some zebras. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.A very good base for the Addo Elephant park and I enjoyed also the Scotia safari.

Offering panoramic views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range, Camp Figtree by The Oyster Collection features a variety of game drives, safaris and game walks. This location is the perfect couples getaway. All of the rooms are at least 40 meters apart and boast some magnificient views of the Zuurberg mountains. Dinner and drinks prices were more than acceptable and Camp Figtree was the highlight of my month long stay in South Africa. Staff were amazing too and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Siya and Mzi.

Set against a cliff above the Bushman's River valley, Woodbury Lodge is located in the malaria-free area of the Amakhala Game Reserve. Thanks to Kristin and Thando for the wonderful drives and excellent hosting.
