Awesome hosts.

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We loved the spaciousness of the unit and the fact that it was pet friendly. The yards are also very spacious. We also enjoyed being off the grid and not experiencing loadshedding.

J&B Lodge offers accommodation in Underberg, a 12-minute walk from Major Adventures and a 16-minute walk from Medical facility (Underberg). The property features mountain and garden views. The place was very well stocked to provide for self catering. Loved the little doggies, especially Holly who joined us for our walk to the little dam. Barry and Jen were awesome host and was extremely accommodating and friendly. Definitely a return for us...

Featuring a bar, Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge is located in Kruisfontein. The property is solar powered and offers Canadian-style log cabins. The scenery is really something else. You are already quite remote in this part of ZA but once they bring you up with the 4x4 the only people you will encounter are those on the premise itself. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. All in all great value and a very relaxing place with great views and hikes!
