The place is wonderful, the architecture goes nice with the landscape and the setting is gorgeous. Incredible views. You are at a shirt distance from Cachi and at the same time you disconnect from everything. Its the second time I stay and would stay again

The hotel has an inner court with a pool. There is a little restaurant also within it where you have breakfast (media lunas and bread with jam, tea/coffee, orange juice). Our room and bathroom were both very spacious. Cachi is very small so everything in the town is well within walking distance.

Finca Santana is an extraordinary property remotely tucked away up in a valley outside Cachi with views for miles. The property is impeccably appointed both inside and out. The 10 hectare grounds are an oasis and a veritable botanical garden with all sorts of flowers, fruit trees, kitchen gardens, a pond, a roaring creek that you can hear throughout the property and a beautiful slope with about 100 saguaro cacti across the creek. Adriana your host will give you afternoon snacks and a glass of wine and a great breakfast the next morning. She can also offer you dinner for an additional nominal charge that we took her up on because we couldn't bring ourselves to leave and have dinner in town. We were on a 3 day 2 night whirlwind tour of Cachi and Cafayate from Salta and wish we had made it a week long trip instead. We are already planning on coming back again with friends and will definitely slow things down. Give Cachi the 2-3 days and nights it deserves and treat yourself to a relaxing stay here. One of the most amazing properties we have ever stayed at. 11 stars.
Located in Cachí, La Casa de Vero offers a garden. The property is located 1.6 mi from Cachi vineyard. Guests can enjoy garden views. At the hostel, the rooms have a patio.

The house is really beautiful. The rooms are very nice, and the beds are really good. It's located centrally in Cachi, and it's only 5 minutes walking to the restaurants. It's a nice and small place and good to meet some other travellers in the garden. Sol and Sole were really nice, and prepared a good breakfast.

We spent two nights here on our 10 night Salta road trip . It was exactly what we needed. We spent a relaxing warm day in the garden. The location is within minutes to very nice restaurants
Cachi is a wonderful little town in a complete colonial...
Cachi is a wonderful little town in a complete colonial style situated at 2500 meters altitude. This helps with the temperature, which is around 25 degrees while it’s 30+ in Cafayate. Around the large square with tall, shady trees, there are several restaurants. All Argentine towns have such a large square, green and with shady trees. The squares, which are always called 9th of July Square or another famous date, attract both tourists and locals, and especially in the evening, there is a rich social life with music and performances. As always, people sit and drink mate tea from characteristic cups with built-in straws.

We stayed 2 nights and it was just right.
We stayed 2 nights and it was just right. I regret the museum was not open when we were there. A recent storm had knocked out the internet in the whole town and only one restaurant had it working. The main square is a charming oasis of green in the white-washed town that is clean and inviting.

Cachi was the jewel of the towns we visited during 3 weeks...
Cachi was the jewel of the towns we visited during 3 weeks in Argentina. The hotel was clean, contemporary with local art work, friendly employees, and easy walking distance to the plaza. The view of the hotel courtyard and pool was beautiful with Cachi in the background. Cachi was very walkable and clean. We happened to be there the weekend of the yearly music festival. We were too tired to attend but could hear the folk music from our hotel room, which was fun. If this could be a problem for sleeping you might want to check the date of the January festival, but it added to the charm to see the musicians arriving in costumes and and hear people singing along. This is a BIG festival in a small, charming town.

Cachi is a beautiful small town.
Cachi is a beautiful small town. We spent only 1 day but I would suggest 2-3 minimum. There are plenty of small towns nearby and some TOP NOTCH wineries and bodegas to explore. We're going back again and slowing it WAY DOWN.

There is absolutely nothing to detain the visitor in Cachi.
There is absolutely nothing to detain the visitor in Cachi. It is totally devoid of charm or attraction and there is no reason to stay.
The restaurants are of a very poor standard and the quality of the food and of service is dire. A forty minute wait after ordering was not unusual and then the food would be cold and virtually inedible. We could not finish any of the meals that were provided.
Cachi is, of course, on a wonderful route through the Andes and is difficult to avoid. If there is time, the traveller on this route should continue to the nice small town of Molinos with some lovely old colonial buildings, attractive adobe houses. and a very interesting church.
.It also has a very nice hotel - the Hacienda de Molinos , a former residence of a Governor of the Province - - with a very, very good restaurant. It is well worth the visit.

beware that there is 100km of gravel road, very corrugated
i suggest a full tank of fuel before leaving Cafayate
coming to/from Salta, scenic very winding mountain road with major gravel sections
national park of cacti is gret
The views of the mountains and surroundings incredibly enhance the stay. In the morning there are horses to be seen across from the fence, a dog to greet you, and and grapes from the orchard to taste.
This was a fantastic place to stay while in Cachi. Close enough to get into town easily, but a 5 minute drive away and you feel like you are in the mountains and at peace. Communication was excellent.
Beautiful, newly refurbished home on the edge of Cachi. The room is spacious with high ceilings and adobe walls. Good Wi-Fi connection. Super kind and helpful hosts who prepared a lovely breakfast with local jams, delicious!
We loved the cat on the property, she was so friendly and cuddly, reminding us of our puppy back home.
Parking on the street just outside.
Absolutely magical hotel in a remote location not too far away from Cachi! The rooms were exceptional and the dinner was delightfully fresh. Virginia is an excellent host and her sense of pride in her family home is very apparent. It was difficult to leave the comfort of the Casa de Campo La Paya in the morning - we wished we had stayed here longer!
Beautiful location, building , and rooms. A updated 100 year old building that is fabulous to step back in time. Bottled water available. Wonderful breakfast! Excellent staff spacious accommodation and peaceful. Having a car to get there is best but you can get a taxi the 7.4 km from Cachi. My favorite stay while I was in Argentina for a month!!!
Lovely little hotel in the centre of the town. Owner was lovely! Comfortable bed with a great view, bathroom was well equipped. Added bonus of quick laundry service. Breakfast was included but could have included more option (although fairly standard from all our stays in Argentina!). Clean everywhere!
The hotel has an inner court with a pool. There is a little restaurant also within it where you have breakfast (media lunas and bread with jam, tea/coffee, orange juice). Our room and bathroom were both very spacious. Cachi is very small so everything in the town is well within walking distance.
This property has real character. It is beautifully furnished and it feels as if you are a guest in the owner’s house. Breakfast was good and served with the other hotel guests in an elegant dining room. It is a very short walk to restaurants and the main square.
Beautiful hotel! Lovely rooms/apartments with lots of facilities. Comfy beds and lots of places to relax. Pool was added bonus! Vineyard tour was great and able to taste their wines also. Breakfast delivered to you was a lovely added touch!
- great location (outside of Cachi, a car is recommended, but in our case it was, what we were looking for)
- nice rooms (without an AC, which was not needed during our stay (mid February)
- good restaurant
Comfortable atmospheric rooms in the heart of town. We were well attended by Austin and the hotel cat! Great breakfast and helpful service throughout. Would definitely recommend for a Cachi stay.
A small wooden cabana on a family’s land - you need a car to access as several miles above Cachi on unmade roads . Hot plate so we could make dinner , and fabulous views sitting outside
