This is THE best motel I have stayed in. It was clean, very comfortable and the views are just beautiful. It was so nice walking into the room and it was so warm and cosy. The electric blankets were a treat.

The Red Wood Forest, Mount Donna Buang, LaLa Falls & the Blue Lotus Garden were a few of the best places to visit when in the Warburton area. There are several great walking trails and outdoor nature places to sightsee with friends and family.

Absolutely like the rainforest gallery.
Absolutely like the rainforest gallery. We got there early - it was very serene and original. The redwood forest was stunning. Again, we got there early in the morning so not crowded. Yarra River walk was very good. Lots of ducks. There are duck food sold in nearby shops and visitor centre.

It's a beautiful region along the Yarra River, I think about 75km from the mouth of the river at Melbourne. Tons of huge gum trees and forest, and wineries and farms and village type areas with quirky shops. We appreciated the fact that it isn't on a highway and there's no big shopping centres.

Warburton was very nice but everything wasn’t open. The bakery was only takeaway and to be seated would have been nice.We ate at the Alpine Hotel and that was very nice with staff very pleasant and helpful. The pizza shop had a vast choice of pizzas which were very tasty. We went to Soumah winery for lunch for our anniversary . and the food was great as was the wine tasting.we went to upper yarra rsl for dinner and we were there on steak night. Food and staff were great.
The room had been recently renovated and was comfortable, clean and stylish. But what impressed us most was that after our departure we realised we had left a wallet in the room. A staff member searched the room and located it, then mailed it back to us promptly with the cash and cards all there. We were very grateful for such honesty, politeness and efficiency. Thank you so much to Mona and all the staff at Green Gables for making our stay in Warburton memorable.
I was pleasantly surprised, as the room was better than what was shown on-line. I was also pleased to have the room at the end of the walkway.
Prior to arriving, I received a courtesy call from Alan informing me about a minor change and notice of the change was also made available to me upon my arrival to the property. I was very content staying at Warburton Lodge and will recommend it to friends and stay there again, myself.
The Warby provided a comfortable and lovely stay while my partner and I explored the Yarra Valley & Warburton. The facilities inside our room were exceptionally comfy and clean. We loved having a drink using the outdoor shared spaces in the evening to unwind after our explorations. Plenty of seating spaces were outside for other guests to sit out among the trees and gardens. Our favourite was the firepit seating area.
Oscars on Yarra was a surprise for us! The facilities were clean and premises were well kept. The location is spectacular! I loved the deck area!! The host- Christine and her family were exceptional in accomodating our requests and in general beautiful human beings. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking an authentic experience of Warburton...this property delivers!!
This 120 year old cottage is absolutely a gem in Warburton. It’s wonderfully nestled among the gum trees and ferns and bird chirping, with lovely mountain views from the balcony. It’s very close to Yarra River walking tracks and attractions, and conveniently near shops.
Belinda is a wonderful host, with very nice communication. Nice offer for breakfast.
Kim is a delightful host and has created a lovely, welcoming, traditional-style B&B. She is a great source of info about the local area. I stayed in the very spacious twin room and ensuite bathroom - all spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are fabulous, as were the home baked treats for afternoon tea. Highly recommend for trips to Warburton.
Lovely cottage style property that is only a quick drive to the town centre and site seeing/hiking places. Full of charm and the bed is very comfortable. Everything was clean and we can’t wait to come stay here again. PS the host was very caring and made sure we were comfortable, something missing from modern hotel stays.
I highly recommend this accommodation as the best in Warburton! The place is lovely and the customer service is exceptional! The breakfast was delicious also. Christine and her team do an amazing job at making sure your stay is relaxing and the room was very clean.
I've been coming back and forth to Warburton Hotel due to the great customer services with Simone and Richard. They're very simple and NO wait time at the receptions , You simply walk into a nice warm room ! New carpet has also been put into the rooms
The location was beautiful and our room was very spacious with a nice view of the nature surrounding. Mona was lovely and very helpful. Very accessible by public transport and plenty of things to do in Warburton, the area is just beautiful.
Room looked inviting when we arrived
Good location, could walk everywhere during the day
Easy quick drive at night to eateries
Quaint hotel which we liked
Quiet reading space with warm fire
Management were friendly and helpful
The rooms are quite spacious and the location is perfect with not too far from the shops but still surrounded by natural beauty. The staff was quite courteous. Ample onsite parking available.
The view was magnificent and location was excellent just a few minutes from shops and the river. It is a great house for family/groups with central living spaces and plenty of room.
Came via bike on Warburton Rail Trail so it's on a good location for that trip. Close to the end of the Rail Trail and quite close to the shops and restaurants.
Comfortable bed.
