Breakfast was perfect, good selection. Good value
The river view from room was very misleading. In basement room, window high could only see straight ahead so not really a river view

The hotel staff was very quick and helpful. We travelled with a baby and needed hot water few times. The staff obliged at all hours.

I would happily recommend this place to others. The rooms were clean and fresh. There were toiletries to use which are handy when travelling light for a long weekend trip, along with a fridge and hairdryer. The pool and gym were great if you have the time. The location is spot on, you are right in the centre and there is no noise. We didn't use the restaurant however did grab a drink downstairs on arrival as we were a bit early for check in. The staff were great, really helpful and suggested some nice walks close by. We used the bag storage to go and explore while we waited for check in. If you fancy a bit of history, check out the ruins on the bottom floor, won't take too long but interesting to see. Thanks for a great stay! Will definitely return.
