A 10 day trip to Bermuda. I chose that accommodation according to the positive tourist testimonials. So I decided to stay at Airbab Moongate East for my temporary holidays. Everything was so amazing with good facilities in the great location towards Hamilton City. There are several bus stops down the road from the property. Glen and Gail had been a very kind and helpful host to me during my 10 day stay at their studio apartment. She insisted on showing me everywhere on the island during a car trip. Everything is so amazing that I have viewed so many beautiful scenes such as old historical places, some pink sand beaches and more interesting road trips so I had a wonderful opportunity to do a lot more photography. By the way I insisted on paying Gail several reasonable amounts of money for her pure kindness. There is a big supermarket within a few kilometres away from the property where I had been staying. It does actually provide a big range of both Irish and British food products. I had no problem buying a lot of both Irish and British food products over there. Airbab Moongate East is the best location in Paget Parish, Bermuda. It is best accessible to anywhere so amazing by bus on the island. Bus fares are very reasonable. It is much cheaper than any Bermudian taxis. I had the best memorable travel experience of my life over there. I strongly recommend that Airbab Moongate accommodation for any future tourists. That is all. With a debt of my gratitude to Glen and Gail Baisden. Dundalk, Ireland

Part of the hotel is renovated and I initially had a not renovated room. I couldn't open the windows of the room. When I complained I got a different room looking more towards the street and air conditioning engines which were loud during the night. At 699 $ the night totally below expectations!

Plenty of places to eat on the front.
Plenty of places to eat on the front. Selection of expensive and touristy shops. Bus terminal for buses to take you all over the island. Ferry terminal to take you to Dockyard and on to St. George's.

I booked this hotel because of their beach, and I was right!
I booked this hotel because of their beach, and I was right! The beach is absolutely fantastic.I would add a ferry between both Fairmont hotels, and maybe a couple of ferries from the hotel marina around Bermuda, but i would be just a little cherry on the icing on the perfect cake

Too many changes since years ago.
Too many changes since years ago.
Not to the benefit of friendly locals.
With the wealth of foreign investment, local business appears non-existent now too commercialised and rent for locals is sky-high.

The island is extremely expensive especially if you are visiting from America. A appetizer cost between 12-16 dollars and everything goes up from there. The locals are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Due to the dockyard the island is geared more towards tourists then its own people. I’d say this island is definitely for family vacation or business purposes only.

Pleasant city, which unfortunately clears out at night.
Pleasant city, which unfortunately clears out at night. Good restaurants and shopping. Excellent base to explore the entire island using the local bus system. Very nice waterfront, good facilities (public toilets, water refill stations). Pedestrian friendly. And the people are terrific -- polite, friendly, helpful. But it is pricey.
We visited between Christmas and New Years so Bermudas beautiful beaches were not a priority for us. The location of the Hamilton Princess was perfect; in the town of Hamilton, close to the ferry dock, restaurants and shops and central on the island for trips to the north or south end.
The staff were all fabulous - helpful, friendly and efficient. We had no problem with the added daily gratuity of $39 on the room charge or the 17% added everywhere.
The food was ok, regular big hotel fare, except at Intrepid, which was fabulous.
There are not enough characters in the world to say how wonderful our experience was. We travel a lot and never felt so welcomed with such personalized service. Niki, a manager was exceptionally sweet, but everyone from the wait staff to housekeeping to concierge deserves 5/5 stars. I think this hotel has ruined future trips for us since everywhere we go will never measure up! We never stay at the same hotel twice but would certainly do so next visit. Stop searching/comparing hotels. This is the one!
Location is very good, in a quiet situation on the southern edge of Hamilton, within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the ferry terminal, shops, banks, bus station, post office, restaurants, churches, City Hall and the Queen Elzabteh Park.
A useful convenience shop is situated opposite this 12-room guest house.
All the staff were superb - most welconming and very helpful.
It was also nice to see and hear the young children enjoying themselves in the nursery next door.
Daily room service pancakes & maple syrup, coffee, and fresh orange. The bar and restaurant area under the awning is a very pleasant place to while away a leisurely dinner.
The hotel is next to the oddly-named but much fun car hire of Twizy. A very Bermudian experience well recommended.
A little of British history cheek by jowl with American modernity. Bermuda is wonderful if a little expensive.
I requested a baby cot in my room which wasn’t there when we arrived despite confirmation. Eventually we got one and were charged quite heavily for it.
There was some confusion about whether our stay included breakfast. No one seemed to be able to confirm this!
Overall though the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice although not overly great for young children.
Each room has unique decor and very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet in covered terrace. Great menu selection in main dining room. Daily managers reception. Great location with 5-10minute walk to Front St. Employees made sure our stay was great. They are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about area. The hotel has a great ambience.
In a great location for the Railway Trail, Shelly Beach and seeing fabulous sunsets. A short ride to Hamilton and St Georges. It had everything I needed for my 15 day stay. The owners are very helpful and great hosts. They put me in touch with Jimmy the taxi driver who is extremely reliable and an excellent driver
We were delightfully surprised by our last-minute accommodation at the Oxford House. We unexpectedly had to stay another night in Bermuda (oh darn, right?) and the staff could not have been more welcoming, and the bed extremely comfortable. We appreciated the cozy conditions and assistance from staff throughout.
The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Lana was very friendly and helpful. The location was great as it was just a short walk to restaurants and shopping in Hamilton. We would recommend the Egdehill to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, convenient, and friendly accommodations.
Brenda was the best hostess! She met me as I arrived, showed me around the property and the apartment, gave me lots of great information about how to get around in Bermuda and she was so friendly, courteous and helpful! I will definitely be renting from Brenda again in the future!
It’s a beautiful colonial villa, from the decor to the staff!!!
Beautiful location in the center of Hamilton, I rented also an electric car near by(2 minutes walking).
Nice breakfast and also a nice aperitivo( a nice selection of cheeses and wines).
Everything: Infinity pool, dining at Intrepid and 1609, our suite with patio, fabulous service from the moment we arrived. The hotel GM and the manager at Intrepid, went above and beyond to make our 50th anniversary celebration special.
the Oxford House is very comfortable and in a fabulous location in Hamilton. we also really liked that a nice breakfast was included with the accommodations.
Wonderful warm and cosy hotel with beautiful grounds! Especially liked the 5 pm Happy Hour in the lounge! And Bally took very good care of me at breakfast!
