While going to Paro and Thimphu one should definitely stay in Phuntsholing for atleast one night. Its a small place and very helpful and wonderful people. The local people of Bhutan are very discipline and the very much organize.

It's the connecting city between India and bhutan, better to have a overnight stay for getting the permit done. Phuentsholing is very well connected by road to Paro and Thimpu. There are regular Toyota buses RS 220 Per person and shared taxi Rs 750 Per Person.

Border town between India and Bhutan.. lively and there are few places of interesting there and here u can feel the transition of one culture to another... But if Bhutan is your destination then you can avoid flying to paro but if u like a good drive then this is the best route to explore bhut1
