We were just looking for a decent place to spend the night in the middle of a long drive, and it was perfect for it. Room is super dark, bed and pillows were comfortable, and had a good shower. Its all very simple the room is small, but a very good deal considering how cleaning everything was, the free parking garage, and the comfort.

The family-run Hotel Obermaier has been decorated in a typically Bavarian style. It is in the centre of Munich’s historic district of Trudering. Munich's Exhibition Grounds are 3 km away.
This hotel is conveniently located next to the station but there is hardly ever any staff there, and you have to phone a number to get a code to get into the hotel most of the time. If you are doing this late at night after a long journey and have to try the number a few times before you get through, it is worrying and it is not what you expect when you are paying over £129.84 (149.21 Euros) for your 1 night stay. As someone else said this is not a hotel it is a room rental service. NO BREAKFAST included.
We arrived at almost midnight and there was a number at the door to call to make a late checkin. We called and they had no record of our reservation. the person on the phone said we are not on the list and thats it without too much drive to solve the situation. instead we had to find our what the problem could be. it took us 45min to find out that the number was wrong (another branch of the hotel) and then somebody called us to give us the code for the door. very annoying to wait 45min at midnight.
This facility is really deterioting at a high speed. The current investors are seamingly running it on a wear and tear basis. Garbage is piling up on the floor. Not suitable for tourist any more, only for workers. Party on the floor at the weekends all night long. Nobody at the reception, just at the phone. No breakfast, nothing This was a good hotel, now it is a barack.
Hotel is situated close to the train station, it takes around 25 min (no train change required) to get to Munich centre. We’ve got a spacious room with fridge and tv. Grocery store is located in the same building.
The Hotel is closing mid 2022. Impression is that this Hotel is run on wear. No comparison to the good times before Corona. No breakfast at all. Roommisvclean, but garbage is stapling on the floor.
