Wander along the narrow cobbled streets of the medieval city of Tallinn and marvel at the fashion forward culture existing comfortably alongside tradition.

A multitude of shopping opportunities are available especially along Viru Street, with several rising Estonian designer boutiques side by side with traditional crafts of woven fabrics, pottery and glass blowing. City is beautiful, roads and all the city areas looks renovated and overall looks good. I especially liked museums. The old town and walls with towers were really interesting to see. We had no problem communicating with locals, in shops and in restaurants using English and Russian languages. Transportation in city is great too, you can go on bus, tram, trolleybus.
The only downside I see is a bit steep prices at restaurants. for example in Tallinn center (several places) for two people you will pay around 60 Eur (1 side dish, 2 main dishes and 2 drinks). Comparing to Lithuania capital Vilnius or Latvia capital Riga you will pay 1,5x-2x times less in there.

Everything in Old Town is a cultural delight and easy to explore on foot. Full of wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars, quality shops, handcrafts and souvenir stores. Rest of Tallinn easy to get around with buses and trams; ( always on time! ) very ecconomic with pre-purchased card; directions and routes well signed and with maps at stops. Tram service from Old Town direct to Airport;
Large selection of hotels, all clean with varied amenities and room rates in Old Town.
Cobblestone and stone pavements best to walk with low shoes; cars are limited from access in Old Town, but taxis will get you close, or right to all hidden places. Lots of tourists year-round and more in summer. Check for numerous free offerings of concerts in cathederals, open air music and varied events in summer; English spoken almost everywhere. Safe city at night. Colorful, vibrant, historic, well renovated and preserved city to explore with many parks and public seating for the weary. Have coins available for toilets inside public areas other than eateries.

Compact size city. Easy to catch many places by walk.
Compact size city. Easy to catch many places by walk. Good selection of public transport with plenty of payment options. English language is widely in use but not in all smaller places and services. Estonia has known one of those low/mid-priced countries but unfortunately prices are getting higher here also. Still...i`ll come again for sure.

Tallinn was a fascinating destination for me, as I hadn't visited before. Among the three Baltic states, I found Tallinn's Old Town to be particularly romantic, with its charming buildings and cobblestone streets. However, one aspect that struck me was the prevalence of Russian-speaking residents. It gave me the impression of not just visiting Tallinn, but rather a city with a significant Russian-speaking population.

Beautiful town.
Beautiful town. I went at the correct time for me as I like it quiet. Museums and many restaurants dont open till the beginning of the season, which is May. Walking tour was worth going on as was the virtual reality of Tallin. I would have liked to have gone to the beach and outside of the Old Town to see the wooden houses but it was too cold at 5 degrees. Glad of my hat and my waterproof cape. Very honest and kind people. Straight to the point and no hinting. Had some great food whilst there and recommended it to several people on my return.
Hotel Regent Tallinn was lovely. The staff could not do enough for you and helped make the wonderful stay even better. The pool was a smallish spa pool that soothed away the aches and pains of walking around the cobbled streets in the old town . The Italian restaurant was brilliant and the Lasagne was the best my partner has ever tasted. The hotel was located within 5 minutes of the main square and in a quiet road. If ever we return to Tallinn which feels like a fairytale city we will definitely return to the Hotel Regent
This hotel would be perfect for short-term or single person stays. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but for two people was not quite big enough. The location of the hotel within the Creative City (the best part of Tallinn in our opinion) made it very accessible by foot and/or a cheap Bolt ride to Old Town or the ferry to Helsinki. We also enjoyed the digital access code entry and online check-in/out system for ease.
Charming In Old Town, the Hestia Baron’s reminds me of a mini version of the “grand Budapest Hotel” featuring the vintage woodwork, winding staircase to the breakfast room, wallpapers and furnishings. It’s maybe not the headline place to stay but don’t overlook this one. One caution is to ask for a quiet room. Bars in the area can be noisy, you want to face the interior.
A beautiful boutique hotel located in the "old town" of Tallinn, remarkably built into the medieval wall and yet spanking new and up to date. Excellent interior design, fascinating floor plan to accommodate the old wall, modern and well equipped bathroom, and terrific beds. Excellent buffet breakfast, and a walk out the door and you are in the best part of Tallinn!
The best place to stay in Tallinn. The hotel is in a great location, quiet neighborhood , 5 minutes walk to the Old Town, close to green areas and Tallinn Bay. Spacious, clean room, very comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, clean large bathroom. The breakfasts are really tasty and large selection of products. The hotel staff is helpful. I recommend.
Everything was great! Working space loto of space to work remotly, stuff super kind, modern design, free parking place next to hotel, shower excelent, atmosphere great. I love this hotel…… and the price I think it is too cheap for what You get for it.
I have been in lot of hotels all around the world, but this is one of the best choices.
Staff is super friendly and rooms are great, no matter are you staying in cheapest room or in suite. The restaurant in 24th floor is excellent except that you can hear everything from kitchen (I mean every discussion). There are great spa and gym. Location is the best and I recommend higher floors for beatiful view to Tallinn.
I think it was well hotel. Rhe room was spacious and clean. Not very comfortable beds and pillows but not the worst. Breakfast was good with many aoptions to choose. Wifi fast. Location was very good, very close to the oldtown. If the parking is full you have an option to park at Virus buildibg for the same price.
I love the hotel. The staff was nice. The facility was gorgeous. The spa and massage was well worth it. Also the sky bar was nice and a nice vibe as well. Would definitely recommend and would book again if I was to ever come to Tallinn again. One of the best hotels I've been to!!
It was about 15-20 minutes from the old town by car, which was so close to the airport as well. The hotel has a lot of parking space. The old lady at the reception was so nice and the breakfast was not bad. If you need an electric kettle, you can borrow at the reception.
I often come to Tallinn but this was my first time in this hotel and it was really great! The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. And the spa (swimming pool and saunas) - one of the best I have encountered so far in the hotels.
I liked, that the Hotel was in really old building. I liked that our room was hard to find and that the floor boards were squeaking (maybe strange things to like). Included breakfasts were good. Great location, nearby all main old town places.
A modern hotel, very clean, near the Old City, near the ferry to Helsinki.
You have cheap parking right to the hotel, in the underground, but you need to install an app.
Wonderful experience. Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bad. A lot of restaurants are nearby. The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful.
