La Figal de Xugabolos, Salas, hotel in Salas

Set in Salas, 39 km from Plaza de la Constitución, La Figal de Xugabolos, Salas offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Everything is wonderful, this is such a special place. Our 2nd visit, the first time on the Camio Primitivo and this time returning from another Camino. The area is stuningly beautiful and the accomodation has been thoughtfully planned. This family run accomodation is a haven of sheer delight. The food is excellent and the whole team are wonderful. Its also a great opportunity to communicate and share stories with fellow pilgrims. We cannot praise it highly enough. Thank you Claudia, Oscar and Christina...sorry if we have missed anyone out!

The friendliest and most helpful hosts ever. The best relaxing location ever. A quiet ( very) country pub 50 yds away, what's not to love, in a fabulous relaxed setting. It's quite literally like the set for "the sound of music" hillside scenes.

Salas has a lot of potential as a town.

Salas has a lot of potential as a town. It´s got a river that goes through it and very lovely people. It even has great connections with the SANTIAGO CAMINO. I guess it could improve on accessibility as it isn´t the easiest to get to if you have no car due to limited bus schedules.

Although there were a couple of cafe bars very close by there was absolutely no noise late at night, it was very quiet and we slept well. Salas is a good, clean small town with a sufficient amount of shops to supply you with your basic requirements whilst on holiday. If we had the opportunity to stay longer than one night I'm sure we would have found out that there were many more shops and facilities available. We liked Salas and the shop keepers and people in general were very friendly. We would love to go again for a longer visit.

Fantastically located at the end of the town of Salas and a short walk to the main square. Open parking in front of the hotel but very safe, even for our motorcycles. The owner could have done any more for us, absolutely a genuine person. We stayed a few nights and had some friends who were vegetarian and almost every night we had bespoke cooked meals that were not on the menu. Such a great experience staying here with a very personal touch. Will be sure to return.

We were a couple that stayed for two nights, over the weekend. Wifi was working great everywhere. Parking was available for free in the private parking area of the hotel. Breakfast was really good and prepared every morning so that you could take it anywhere. Covid measures were met and followed by all staff members, common areas and rooms were really clean. We got some nice restaurant recommendations from the staff and everybody was friendly.

The grounds are beautiful with stunning views. The hotel is decorated with lots of love and attention to detail. Friendly happy animals visit you. The family that owns it is lovely and accommodating. The pilgrims menu was delicious and served in a lovely setting. We stayed in a a double room. It was the best sleep we’ve had since we started walking. Good coffee in the morning. Highly recommend. They also have a washer you can use.

In the middle of town, bars and restaurans just around the corner. Spacious rooms with a wonderful wiew. I heard cowbells outside my Window (in the center of town)Absolut clean. We walk the camino Primotivo and nobody has heard about this little hotel. We talk to a man who run the albergue and he had never heard about this place. We were alone and we dont understand why. Very nice owner.

It’s simply beautiful, the rooms are spacious, we had a beautiful terrace with a very nice Mountain View, lots of garden and seating area. They serve good quality coffee. The house was bought and renovated by the owners and it has a beautiful story. Very close to Salas where you can go for dinner, but they also serve dinner in the place.

Beautiful property both inside and out with great location on Camino just before you reach Salas. Diverse clientele with both pilgrims walking Camino and locals and European tourists who visit for holidays and special occasions. First rate staff and service and restaurant was excellent. The breakfast had fresh bread with butter and jam. However, there was very little cheese and ham. Well fresh and delicious, we have had stays at other places with many more quantity and options they were included with the room as opposed to at this hotel, where breakfast was an extra charge.

The inn is located just before Salas, right on the CP. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It had a lovely little patio that overlooked their property. Communal dinner was a lot of fun and the food was good. Breakfast also quite good.
