The hosts learn this and immediately offer to drive the walkers a few kilometers to another village to shop for those items. Then on the way back to the hotel the host drops the guests off at taproom for a beer and carry the shopping back to the guest room. It is also near the footpath to the castle and not far from the swimming lake. Puivert is also conveniently located for visiting other Cathar castles and places of interest. The owners were always responsive and helpful.
