Lovely food, great staff.
The hotel is grubby and dirty throughout, particularly the pool and terrace.
Spa doesn't open til 8am in a Saturday, but the website says 6.30 am.
Stayed 2 nights. Sadly, I won't stay again. I had planned to book again for next week as I am attending another conference. But not being able to use the spa this morning at 6.30 am, as advertised, has put me off. I'm working all day, so 8am is much too late for me.

Not a big city , nice places to eat, fantastic big country park , near to city centre, absolutely wonderful, donated by Andrew Carnegie. Easy rail or bus travel to major cities, fairly reasonable prices, but don’t use ScotRail app, get paper tickets.you can travel on the buses all day for £ 11.50 pp. by purchasing a east of Scotland day rider ticket, good value. Plenty of decent shops and supermarkets close to hotel, lovely big church and abbey ruins close by.

A gem of a city, and a secret that now the people of Edinburgh are cottoning onto. It's got a beautiful Heritage Quarter with loads of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. Fantastic old buildings, a huge amount of history and one of the most beautiful parks in the world - Pittencrieff Park - is glorious. It really is like a mini-Edinburgh without the fuss and crowds, and such a lovely place to hang out.

We travelled to visit Knockhill Racing Circuit for a booked experience day.
Arrived on a lovely sunny day so decided to visit Pittencrief park on our way to the hotel (Adamson Hotel in crossford) where we had a great walk around the park and encountered many of the beautiful sights including the squirrels.
All in all a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back at some point in the (hopefully not too distant) future
The cottage was very comfortable and was perfect for our stay. We'd stayed in a hotel for a few days prior to getting to the cottage and for the same price, we had a bedroom, large living room, bathroom, kitchen and garden. The property was only 10 minutes walk from a supermarket and take-away places and 20 minutes to Dunfermline railway station. We were visiting the Edinburgh Fringe and tattoo and it was esy to get into Edinburgh from the property !
The hotel was spotless, the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Anna who’s meet and greet at breakfast made us feel valued. The breakfast was lovely, loads to choose from, our room was big, airy & spotless with a good size en-suite also spotless. Lovely location, we got the train into Edinburgh from Dunfermline where we could park and ride which was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable with very friendly, helpful staff, and an excellent location in a quiet, easily accessible part of Dunfermline. My heart sank when I arrived because there was a wedding in progress, but the room was the other side of the hotel and I didn't hear a thing. I would strongly recommend Garvock House and plan to go back with my partner who was unable to come because of sickness.
The property is located right on the Fife coastal path, making it very convenient. The full Scottish breakfast was splendid, and very filling. The room featured a beautiful view of the sunset over the Firth, heated floor in the bathroom, and a very very comfortable bed. Also, the shower had a massage head which was very welcome after the long walk up from Kincardine.
This was our first experience with a Witherspoon hotel and we were very pleased. The location was right where we wanted to be and we enjoyed an evening walk around Dunfermline. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the price was a good value. Once we found our way in, the staff person at the bar was friendly, informative and efficient.
The staff,,, they are very friendly, helpful and cheerful,,, the cleanliness of the hotel itself and its near to city centre too.
They have their own restaurant that you can eat anytime you want 😊👍😊
The Breakfast is superb especially the Scottish Full Breakfast,, lovely 😊😍😊
Highly recommended for both short and long stay holiday makers.
Nice Hotel ( 2nd Stay here ) Excellent Restaurant that does 'Steak on a Stone' & very acceptable bedroom space, very central location for Dunfermline attractions & plentiful bars.
Bar area at 1703 is quite a Romantic setting with good bar staff,Dining Area in main Restaurant at 1703 is quite a Romantic setting with good Restaurant staff.
Our whole stay was totally idyllic and all the staff were not just friendly, but they all went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect.
The hotel is beautifully decorated to reflect the original grandeur of this gorgeous 200 year old house, and our bedroom was exquisite and scrupulously clean, as well as very quiet.
Property is perfect for an overnight or weekend stay. Really well kitted out and a lovely decked area to enjoy the sun. Everything you need for a weekend is there and the location is perfect for a wander into Dunfermline town centre. Contact with J and A is spot on and they could not be any more helpful. 100% recommended.
The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The restaurant was very good and there is a great rolls place just up the road as well as a chips shop. You can walk to Dunfermline in about 30 minutes using the Fife Pilgrim's Way, through the countryside. The room was clean and comfortable!
Absolute fantastic wee hotel. Brent the owner went above and beyond for us. Rooms were spotless. Best hotel bed I have slept in, in a while! Bathroom modern. The hotel has a lovely warm charm to it. And it's quiet!!! All on ground floor so will come back with my elderly grandparents at some point.
.Family run hotel, very clean and host was very friendly and welcoming. Quiet location however on bus route to town centre. Train station only 5 minute walk. Breakfast was great. Host couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommend.
The hotel is gorgeous! Very clean and we'll decorated. The location is beautiful!!! The staff were even better than the hotel. If that is possible! We don't want to leave! Will. DEFINITELY stay here again!
Very nice hotel in quiet location, not too far from city centre ,good bus links .Excellent well presented hotel with friendly helpful staff and great value for money , highly recommended.
Perfect for us after finishing a 2 week trip thru Scotland and having an early flight out the next day. With just one night and having seen Edinburgh already, this was a great place.
