Welcoming and upmarket in a fantastic location. It was so quiet at night and we slept really well.

The Globe Inn is right in the centre of Chagford. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is excellent and so is the beer. The inn was very popular, so there was a good atmosphere, just like a good pub should be.

Our room was very pleasant and our two little dogs were well catered for, which was much appreciated. The dinner was good, staff very pleasant, charming & fun to talk to and we were able to talk with other guests at adjoining tables which was most enjoyable. We liked the ambience of the dining room, well laid out with smart linen table clothes but without being pretentious.
In the heart of Dartmoor National Park and 15 minutes from the A30, the historic, Bovey Castle sits high on the valley's edge. It offers a spa and golf course, and free parking.

Chagford was a lovely little market town that was a pitstop on our way to Penzance from the Midlands. Ring O'Bells was a great choice as rooms comfy and the food excellent with a great choice. Lovely staff so we highly recommend.

We couldn’t fault our stay, we booked last minute for one night but decided to stay for two because we liked it so much.
The area is perfect for walking if you don’t mind a few hills!
The restaurant was a very high standard and the food was excellent, we didn’t have Sunday lunch but it looked fantastic and we wished we did!

Ideal location for exploring the moor and not too far from the coast. Food in the pub was lovely and the whole bar area was clean, tidy and very welcoming. Would defiantly consider staying here again , or just dropping by for a drink and a meal.
Overall, we had a good experience here. Firstly and most importantly, the food was very good, especially the specials - kudos to the chef. The pub has a very cosy atmosphere, and so do the rooms which have nice decor and a nice view outside. The location is very good if you intend to visit Dartmoor Park, plus it's a short car ride to the nearby small towns (and Plymouth). Every member of the staff was kind and accommodating.
