Arrived just before the restaurant closed. They let me order before I checked in and went to my room. Everything was ready when I returned to the dining room. Fish and Chips were very good.

    The reason for the trip was to visit friends near Castle Howard, Scagglethorpe is easily accessible from major roads but not on one. Chose the venue for the availability of evening meals and was well satisfied
