Set on the edge of a steep hillside overlooking the Golden Valley, Burleigh Court Hotel is a 18th-century Cotswold-stone manor house located in the heart of Royal Gloucestershire.

Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this hotel boasts stunning views over the Cotswolds countryside. Just 3 miles from the town of Stroud, it has free Wi-Fi, free parking and a restaurant.

The staff were amazing.
I booked with Booking.com for a bath which their website needs updating.
But the hotel ensured everything went as desired.
Thank you.
This 17th-century Manor House is in stunning grounds overlooking Stroud Water Canal and the hills of the Stroud Valley. It has an award-winning restaurant, and routes for cycling and walking.

There was much to like, especially the friendly service from all of the staff. The hotel itself is a fascinating building, dating back to the early 1600's but very well updated and tastefully modernised. We particularly liked the garden terrace and the ability to stroll down to the river and explore.
Situated in Stroud and only 15 km from Kingsholm Stadium, Springbank Cottage features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

I love the cottage atmosphere, well equipped, cosy and with all you need. You can put a record on, use the amazing oven, make an espresso, the room were quite good sized considering that this is a cottage. You get the Cotswolds atmosphere.

Stroud is like no other place full of very friendly Hippies young and old. Fantastic Saturday market, super park with musium and gardens all free including parking.
Lovely walks along the canal and River Frome.
There's nothing not to like about Stroud.

Stroud is quite a big town in Gloucestershire and, as such, it has all of the shops and amenities one would expect. Plus, with a taxi rank, train station and frequent bus services to/from Cheltenham and Gloucester, among other places, the town is well connected. I would recommend it as a base from which to explore Gloucestershire.

Vibrant, friendly and historic town full of stylish places to eat and drink, unique gift shops surrounded by beautiful countryside. Local bus service was also very reliable on the Saturday ( well - better than my own at home anyway!). Public toilets in the town were clean and convenient.
I was on my own but felt safe even at nighttime.
Would recommend the indoor market, Stroud Bookshops, as well as Cornflower and Calico for kitchenware gifts. The Coffee House and Curio Lounge Cafe Bar were great places to visit as well.

Amberley Inn was in a village outside Stroud, the area was very picturesque and plenty to do in the area. The Aboretum at Batsford was exceptional with lovely autumn colour and the Cotswold Villages are a delight.

It the focal point of 5 Valleys all beautiful every season.
The whole area is protected, as are the Cotswolds and its a must stay.
Well connected by the train and buses with a labyrinth of country lanes and greenery for car travellers.
A canal and lots of old industrial history, once a main centre of the SW England WOOL TRADE, it remains rich with villages pubs restaurants, hill top views and lowland vales, many clear for 20 to 30 miles 360 degrees, a paradise to behold

Went to watch Giffords Circus at Minchinghampton Common, the show was fantastic and the atmosphere great, ate in the local pub, good food but a tad on the expensive side.
Lovely area of the Country to visit
Lovely hotel surrounded by picturesque countryside while being very close to larger Stroud. The location is good assuming you have a car where nothing we wanted to do in the Cotswolds was more than a 45 minute drive. The value for money here was great, with a surprisingly good breakfast included, and decent comfort and amenities. Parking was plentiful and easy with a large lot in the rear of the property. I would stay here again without hesitation.
The room we stayed in was really beautiful and spacious. There was plenty of storage space and it even had a chaise lounge to relax on. The bed was large and very comfortable. The food at The Falcon is excellent and we can recommend the pies which were really tasty. The breakfast is great too with plenty of choice cooked well. We really liked Painswick it is a really pretty village with lovely walks around it.
Staff became friendlier! Arrived to no real welcome or help with suitcases. This would have been very helpful and other hotels we have stayed in always offer, and greet guests with proper hospitality. Liked the fact it was on the Common.
Tables, unlike the food, were spaced well apart in times of Covid! Some nice artwork in communal areas.
Spacious two bedroom apartment with separate lounge area and well designed kitchenette. For the space, the accommodation represents reasonable value for money and it is dog friendly (but you will have to eat out for breakfast or pack food). Friendly staff and pretty good pub food downstairs
Friendly & efficient staff in both the Reception and the dining restaurant. Bedroom was comfortable. Lovely location in Cotswolds countryside, yet, only five minutes drive to Stroud town centre. I liked the delicious meals served in the restaurant and the excellent breakfast.
Wonderful house in nice area. Host was away but left everything we needed, and more. Being only occupants, including absent host, we made ourselves very comfortable and relaxed. Fine facilities and absolutely forst class cleanliness, and all amenities!
Perfect stay. Clean, comfortable, excellent location, and friendly staff. Bonus points for wonderful included breakfast. This one definitely ticks all the boxes if you're visiting Stroud. And you should visit Stroud.
I don't eat breakfast.
I spent most of my childhood living near The Laurels, yet never really noticed how beautiful the area was. A fantastic local pub (The Old Fleece) didn't detract from my enjoyment of my stay.
Well equipped and cosy apartment. Good parking and convenient for local pub, walking into Stroud or local brewery and cafe. Comfortable bed and small patio area at the back which caught the morning sun.
A lovely comfortable bed, clean linen, thick towels, in a very warm hotel and great staff who were friendly and helpful. Excellent food, freshly cooked and served for both dinner and breakfast.
