Stirabout Lane B&B, hotel in Glasnarget

On Rathdrum’s main street offering free parking, the award-winning Stirabout Lane B&B provides spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and home-cooked breakfasts.

Daphne was an incredibly lovely host who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She accommodated my request for a vegan breakfast without any hesitation, provided great advice for an evening meal, and would have provided me with a packed lunch as well if I had wanted. The residents lounge was a lovely area to relax and meet other guests. The property including the garden are beautiful and steeped in history. I was expecting only a simple room but it far exceeded this. The bed and room were cosy and comfortable with a very will appointed en suite. I had a wonderful view overlooking the garden and valley and was woken by the sound of the dawn chorus which was fabulous. I travel a good bit and must say that I was blown away with how amazing this place (and Daphne) was. It was reflected when talking to other repeat guests and with Daphne herself of course. Very friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and spacious room. Location is a bit out in the country so we had to drive to get an evening meal, but not a real problem. Definitely recommend staying there.

I liked everything very great place to rest perfectly clean. There was nothing missing. The owner is very pleasant and helpful there are Sheep, Horses but there are no dogs and that's great if someone is afraid of big dogs or allergies. Amazing nature, Mobile connection is full.. I will definitely come back again. Thank you very much. Regards David J

Tudor Lodge B&B, hotel in Glasnarget

Nestled in the Wicklow Mountains in the village of Laragh, Tudor Lodge offers comfortable guest accommodation and self-catering cabins all within a riverside setting.

The Tudor lodge was a B & B but the breakfast was additional cost and compared to other B & B's the cost is not competitive. Although very comfortable there was nowhere to sit and relax, we were there with family so we headed to the local pub to chat.

The cottage was stunning beautiful inside and out.

The cottage was stunning beautiful inside and out. Caroline the host put stair gates on the top and bottom of stairs. We probably wouldn't of been able to relax otherwise as my little woman was mad for the stairs. Caroline had a bed for my little girl and also a cot to see which would suit better. Caroline and her husband were very accomading for our needs. We visited clara lara fun park about 45 mins ago brilliant day out for all ages. Russborough house in blessington was amazing and had a fab park. Sandy beach near the property A visit to the west wicklow pub for food
