Albergo Anna is located in the picturesque old town of Perugia, and given the steep climb up from the railway station, the only way to reach it is by taking the MiniMetro and then the escalators (unless your budget extends to getting a taxi). But once there, it is a convenient location from which to reach all the sights.
The albergo is old, but that is part of the appeal, however don't expect mod-cons everywhere.

As we planned to use Perugia as our base, we wanted to be close to the city center, but also be able to easily leave the city by car to visit other locations. Thus, the Hotel Europa was perfect for our needs. The view from our room was excellent, the room was fairly comfortable and breakfast was decent. The hotel also provides affordable parking on site.

Central location. Well presented hotel with all the facilities needed for a good leisurely holiday. Staff poke english which helped as we don't speak Italian. Helped us with transport from the hotel as apparently there is a shortage of taxis in Perugia.
