This hotel is gorgeous with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy. There are good options for dinner without going into Venice, and it is wonderful to shop early without the crowds. Getting to Venice is not complicated; you just have to work on the timing.

1.The duplex room was excellent for us as a family of 4.
2. A waterbus station was right at the gate of the hotel
3. It was my wife's b'day when we checked in and the hotel staff was kind enough to recognise it and courteous more than enough to send in a bottle of wine at the room.
Hotel Conterie is set in the heart of Murano, right by the Murano Museo water bus stop, just a short ride from Venice. The Marco Polo Airport is just 20 minutes away by water taxi.

Loved the venetian glass and the vintage feel of the rooms. Staff was also very helpful.

The apartment we stayed in was amazing! It was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly the location was amazing! We had a view of the water which we loved, and Murano island is not near as busy as Venice, so coming back from Venice at nights was relaxing.
I loved staying on Murano. It was less crowded than Venice itself, especially at night and early mornings. I was able to take a glass working class and visit a furnace to see how the glassblowing masters work, which was very interesting. It felt like staying in a small town with easy access to Venice, Burano, and the airport.

The main streets of the island get very crowded during the day. However, move a little away from the crowds and it becomes peaceful.
After the day trippers have gone even the main streets become quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the glassblowers' island of Murano, as a basis for visiting the city of Venice. It's a small and very peaceful island with mostly day trippers from the city, and a few nice bars and restaurants along the waterside. The boat into Venice runs frequently and we even got some spectacular views of the Dolomiti mountains. After a day of visiting the city we enjoyed being able to retreat back to the peace and quiet of Murano for the night.

A beautiful quiet island with easy and regular ferries to Venice and the other islands. In October once the many little shops closed at 5, the evenings were very quiet with just a few restaurants open in week nights. Friday night far more open. A great find if you want to see Venice but want to escape the crowds and see more of the other islands.
The room was just as advertised with a window and balcony right on the edge of the water. It was beautiful and relaxing, with the sounds of the waves right outside. We were able to agree on a check in time and allowed to store our luggage when we arrived a little earlier. Very helpful information by the hosts on which water buses to take (3, 41, or 42) and especially what we should do if we are trying to get to Murano at night. The location is also just steps away from one of the ferry stops so that made transporting luggage very easy.
Lovely new hotel with contemporary styling including design nods to Murano’s glass making fame.
An inexpensive shuttle to San Zaccaria (near San Marco).
A very comfortable bed (despite having a central zip. Nice shower etc.
Great service from Elena and her front desk team, the restaurant staff and in particular a world class massage from Elisabetta in the spa.
Cute (if over-lit) local trattoria either side of main entrance (the one on the left is better).
Hotel Conterie is a hidden treasure. We enjoyed every moment while visiting Murano. Our room was spotless, with new linens and great shower pressure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the light breakfast, which was perfect... with plenty of variety. We loved the coffee machine that made cappuccino, latte, etc... relaxing on the open air breakfast patio. It was a great value, and we would love to return. Thank you for being the perfect hosts,
.
Comfortable unit with modern appliances and electric skylights etc. Well equipped with most things needed for a 4 day stay. Very close to terminal to access boats to Venice and surrounding Islands ( Burano etc ). This is a beautiful apartment to stay in with most mod cons, great to see the glass works on the island and walk easily around the streets and canals of Murano
Breakfast-exceptional. Room service excellent.
One of the main reason I picked this hotel is the complimentary water taxi to the airport. They had it available but not until 9am. Many of us with late morning flight, had to take a water bus. We barely got on the bus since our stop was the last stop before the airport. Not a good situation at all!
the hotel is located on Murano, a very quiet small island close to Venice but with al facilities. It is a small family run hotel in Venice style. This was the 3rd time I stayed here and hope to come back soon again. it is located in a quiet street, close to good restaurants and the boat to airport and Venice.
Fabulous location and lovely spacious place to stay. Murano is a perfect base to explore Venice and the other islands and has plenty to explore in itself. The beds were comfy and the bathroom and kitchen were spacious and very functional. We had a very lovely stay.
By far one of my favorite hotels of all the time. The interior set up and how they organize everything was very nice. Old building with a modern touch so its super comfortable. Murano is quieter and only 12 min from Venezia. Found good restaurants around here too.
This apartment was spectacular. Very comfortable and clean. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and easy to work with, and the location in the middle of Murano could not be beat. I loved every minute of my stay here. Pics are of the amazing view from the bedroom.
If you want a quiet visit to Venice, Murano is the place and Hotel Murano is excellent. Beautiful, good-sized room (ours had windows over the canal). Big bathroom with soaking tub and shower. Quite adequate breakfast. Highly recommend this little hotel.
Shhh, don’t tell everyone…. Murano Palace was wonderful. We loved the room and the view for a getaway weekend with easy access to Venice’s main island. Simple breakfast with nice choices set us up for sightseeing.
Spacious and we'll equipped apartment. You can cook a meal, sit in the garden, watch Netflix series on the huge TV, and of course explore the city of Murano as if YOU are a citizen, wonderful experience.
The location and the space were fantastic (but could use some darker curtains in the bathroom)! It was very quiet but easy to move in and out of Venice and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend!
Breakfast was generous. The room we stayed had huge bathroom and in genral was spacious. Hotel is very close to very well connected water tram stop. And the area is very quite in the evening.
The location was great, Murano island in general is way better than the mainland of Venice. Very calm and nice.
The room was spacious.
The host responded to our messages quite quickly.
Simple but elegant, spacious, sunny. Located in a quiet corner of murano, but close to 2 ferry stations, with easy access to Venice. Very pleasant and comfortable stay overall.
