Extremely remote; best to visit by vehicle, be it car, motorcycle, or bicycle. Stars are extremely visible at night, and it's wonderfully quiet. It's nice to sit in the main lounge area and talk to the owner, as well as check out his collections of toys, books, and music. Walkable to Akiyoshido Cave.

The location is extremely convenient, which is around 5-minute walk from the Shinkansen exit of Shin-Yamaguchi station (a little bit nearer for the local train exit). There was not much food to choose from for the breakfast but the food was yummy (I like the healthy fruit juice/smoothie which varies from day to day). I stayed in the capsule room. I was surprised to so he spacious everything is. It was clean, and in a great location for taking the bus to Hagi. And it is cheap!
