It was a large room with a little area off the bedroom with a table and two chairs. But that space had very poor lighting. The place was clean and had free parking on site. The owner was really nice and interested in talking to her guests and offering advice on where to go for food and sights etc.
I would give a rating of good+

We travelled across Korea on our trip starting in Seoul and gradually heading down to Busan, this was by far the best hotel we stayed in and also the best value. The rooms were finished to a high standard, roomy (bathroom very spacious also) and very clean.
I am from England and would say it would easily equate to a 4 start hotel in England, if not 5.
Staff were welcoming and very happy to help with directions to places and booking of taxis etc.

I highly reccomend this hotel! The staff was super helpful and kind, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and breakfast gave a lot of options to choose from. The hotel is right next to both bus stations and tourist information, as well as several convenience stores, and most atractions are near by.

I wish I had stayed at least another day to take in everything Gyeongju has to offer. Going with a guide who drove us around and knew all the ins and outs of restaurants and other places to visit was key to making our short visit so memorable.

In total spent around four days in Gyeongju and the surrounding area. The main part of the city is pretty typical of Korean cities. The main attractions are to the south. It is steeped in history and a great place to learn about Korean heritage. Tombs of former kings, partially recreated palaces, stunning bridges, fields of colourful flowers and some streets with fantastic restaurants and shops. Much of the historic area is laid out in beautifully maintained parks and gardens. A highlight and one of our favourite places on our 2.5 weeks trip to Korea. There are two national parks near by offering good walking opportunities. We undertook one short walk to Chilbul-am temple which was incredibly scenic.

Tourist area. But it was awesome. Lots of local tourists too so you know it's a good place to go to. Good food too. If you love history, you will love this place because you get to learn all about Korean history and the old kingdom.

Bus travel around the sights is very easy with a Tmoney card and Naver maps downloaded we were able to easily get around the sights, of which there are many. Definitely recommend the Observatory and the bridge (go to the bridge at night it's stunning).

A city with a rich history.
A city with a rich history. Lots of artifacts, museums, nature to enjoy. Very generous and comprehensive information from brochures can be easier found. Tourist information centers are really helpful places. The parks are really one of its kind....so beautiful and we'll thought out to make sure that all visitors can enjoy. Security is good in the touristy places.
We literally liked everything during our stay; the rooms are clean and tidy; staff is very friendly and helpful and the location and the Hanok is just wonderful. And please understand that the rooms are not as sound-proof as a newly build hotel, this is an old structure and therefore it can be a bit noisy if people don’t obey the “quietness” rules. I would definitely recommend this place and return there whenever I visit Gyeongju again in the future.
The staff is very friendly and professional, and was always available to help. The hotel is simple but has all the basic ammenities - great value. The hotel is within walking distance from the intercity bus station and some of the main attractions, including the busy restaurant area. For foreigners, the number of motels in the vicinity may appear strange, but the neighborhood seemed to be quiet.
My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay at G House. The room was comfortable and large, and the location was quite central to the food market and local buses and trains. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, offering toast, cereal, milk, juice and eggs that you can cook yourself. Our bathroom was quite large compared with many others we had during our trip to South Korea
We stayed in a private room which was clean and sized to the budget.
There were free laundry facilities, which we were delighted to use.
There was a good breakfast included.
The bus station is nearby.
The guesthouse / hostel was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone spending a few nights in Gyeongju on a budget.
Good comfortable bed, easy check- in and very secure hotel. Room was spacious. Bottled water supplied free and restocked each day. Friendly staff who understood enough English. They were happy to give us bath towels when we asked. The breakfast was ok. Proximity to transport and important tourist sites was excellent.
The hotel was very central, you could easily walk to the main attractions.
The room was clean and very functional,
I like the bathroom where there was a small step separating the toilet and shower. One thing I didn't understand why in Korea in the hotel I have been , guests only get small towels, not bath towels?
The accommodation was exactly the same as seen in the photo and was very clean. Our host was friendly and very helpful. Our 1 night stay was not enough for us, I definitely recommend you to stay 2 nights because the accommodation area and Gyeongju have a fascinating effect. Many respects and thanks to our host.
Everything about this property was great - staying in a traditional Korean hanok, its location in Gyeongju, the incredibly kind owners, the comfortable mattress on the floor and even the ondol heating was always on at the right times and always at a comfortable temperature (never too hot).
The manager is very kind and helpful, the hotel is super clean and in a perfect position for visiting Gyeongju,.also the Intercity bus terminal is 5 minutes on foot. Appreciated the available bathrobes and the possibility to use the washing machine. I recommend staying here.
Great location in city center, walkable distance to all attractions. Hotel so very beautiful and stylish. Room was a bit small but very comfy, the interior designer did a great job with small details such as round window, lighting, kettle and other amenities.
a family owned hotel, typically korean. Room and bath are very clean, the hanok is just in front of national museum (just cross the road), a 15 min walk from city center and all monuments, and near bus stop. And we were warmly welcomed !
Great location and less than 10 min walking to the express bus station, easy access to the main sights of Gyeongju. Room was nice and clean and has everything needed.
