This was a great resort for what we needed - a clean spacious room - right next to the ski slopes. The staff were really nice and helped us order food.

Howard the host made our stay very pleasant, there is nothing that he would not do to help us. I felt sorry for our friends that paid twice as much as us to stay at the resort and miss out experience that Howard was able to gave us.

The hotel was basic, room and bathroom were very small.
The hotel was basic, room and bathroom were very small. The hotel staff were not very helpful in offering information about restaurants and cafes nearby. Spa and sauna are not included in the room price. The hotel is 1.5 km from downtown, so if you prefer to have some restaurant options stay elsewhere. Shuttle bus to/from airport and sky Centers were very useful.

The water park was not very big but it was good enough for family trip. I don't recommend it to young people who are expecting more exciting attractions. The pool bar was offering only few foods but it was interesting experience to eat and drink in the pool. Couldn't go up to the peak due to the bad weather but I will try getting on the cable car next time.

The entire Phoenix resort was redecorated/overhauled, but the access to the ski slopes could have been organized better (more mats, more snow, more slope entrances) near the Pheonix resort as to carry all of the ski equipment for several tens of meters.

Fantastic skiing slopes close by the hotel/resort location...
Fantastic skiing slopes close by the hotel/resort location of Phoenix. Good and sufficient outdoor and indoor parking availability. A CU convenient shop in the hotel makes is easy to buy some small food or other necessities. The room view is excellent and a small terras allows some fresh airing. or cloth drying when needed. Sufficient ski equipment rental is available at hand, no need to bring anything. Renting and ticketing (RFID) is easy and convenient. Prices are reasonable for a whole day and evening skiing fun.

Beautiful area, no wonder was selected to host the Winter Olympics. Surprisingly, not very high mountains, only up to about 1500's meters, but very cold. Even in late December, they had (man-made, of course) snow. Tubing was also fun to do. A small animal farm with sheep and alpacas. Easy access by bus or train from Seoul.
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.I joined In The Soop package this time and the hotel gave many gifts for us.It’s amazing to visit BTS in the soop house. Breakfast is delicious and various. We also booked the BBQ dinner and enjoyed it. It’s my best memory in this Korea trip. I love Phoenix Pyeongchang Hotel sosososo much! Highly recommend.
It is well located near the slopes but you only need one day at Alpensia ski resort as there are very few slopes so staying at the neighbouring ski resort probably would have made more sense for us but we had a car so it wasn’t much of an issue. Room was large with lots of storage. Breakfast has many options.
I like the almost everything about the house. Cute interior and love the beautiful surrounding. Near to the ski resort it is so beautiful during winter. Kids love this place. Owner is friendly and prompt response to all our enquiries. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Daegwallyeong.
The room was big, the hotel was clean and new. Each floor has water and ice machines. There is a convenience store in the building and some independent restaurants. We didn't spend much time there as we just needed a place to stay while skiing, but it was nicer than we had expected.
Great location, right beneath the slopes at Alpensia resort. Comfy and spacious rooms, withh warm feeling to them. We had room with balkony, which was also a decent size. Lobby is beautiful and spacious. Overall, the best hotel in the area. We enjoyed the stay there.
Helpful and polite staff who went out of their way in cold rainy weather to help get our luggage from the Welcome Ski Centre to Holiday Inn Resort which was some 300m away on paths thick with snow. He smartly led us through from the carpark instead.
we really enjoyed our stay, place is clean, the owner is very helpful and made our life easy. definitively will be back.
the skiing resort is quite close and the owner helped us to go there whenever we wanted
I really like the location. The facilities are excellent. There are a good variety of restaurants and a fully stocked mini market. The skiing is pretty good EOM January early February.
직원 친절, 인톄리어굿,,,I like a American style interior and design all the hotel lounge and rooms so great . The room and view so great and nice air. Also all the stuff so nice as well.
Large comfortable room. Pizza and beef in a front of the hotel, coffee in a opposite side. Nice view. 15 minutes to the slopes by car, a lot of rentals on the way
