The hotel is the best on the island, just sand foot on the bikini beach. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Rooms really clean, great airconditioning. The food was also really nice, especially the grilled fish and tuna steak. Looking forward to be back!

Super friendly, safe, clean, quiet and with plenty of activities to choose from during the day. Restaurants with different types of cuisines available and the food is really good. And great coffee. Both beaches are absolutely stunning. Baby sharks and other marine life are always visible from shore when walking around the island.

A very welcoming island and with such friendly locals. It is a small island which is not that far from Male city or the airport by speedboat. There are some small restaurants and cafes that visitors can have snacks, drinks, tea and coffee. There are also many shops that sell everything visitors might need. It is a unique island, calm, giving you the right image for the local life! It has an amazing white sand beach and places with nice local food and fresh juices!!! The prices are really cheap! Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget.
Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget. We didn’t limit ourselves, we went on a couple of boat trips (which cost about 35-70$ per person) and bought whatever we needed (every meal was around 22$-36$), transfers cost around 25-35$ on a speed boat and 2$ on a public transport. All the restaurants, hotels and some shops accept dollars. The only disadvantage of the island, in my opinion, is that especially during low tide, the water in the ocean is knee-deep. Regardless of that the bikini beach is very clean and the corals are beautiful. Also I would suggest bringing fins with you because sometimes the current was really strong and renting them costs 5$.DanilaRussia - 10Scored 10

Nice & cozy small island. You can find local & western food over here & they are serving nice coffee over here. Friendly locals is making you feel welcome to the Island. Walking at the beach and swimming in the sea is the 2 common activities over there. Lying on the beach chair & watching sun set is really enjoyable.

They have their own diving and excursion Center. Must try - shark bank excursion, snorkelling with nurse sharks and visit a sand bank and it was such a great adventure. And also if you are a diver, you must go to the shipwreck diving which is 10 mins from the hotel. Loved the whole experience and Gulhi is such a peaceful island

He met us off the boat with his wheelbarrow. He was always there to greet us for breakfast with a smile and a positive comment to start the day. He would always go out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and showed a real interest in his guests. He is a credit to your establishment.
