I knew it would be a small suite for the 5 of us, but the set-up was such you could barely move around. The dining/kitchen area contained a big table that left little room to prepare things in the kitchen. The balcony had 4 chairs but you could barely sit with 2 chairs.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are ever in MIddleburg. The owner/manager/bartender/cook (sadly, I forgot his name) was absolutely wonderful. He was very friendly and welcoming and pointed me in the right direction when I needed more Euros as most of the restaurants there do not take Visa. The room was plenty big enough for two people and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. I 100% recommend this place and I will certainly stay here again if I am ever in the area. The hotel was conveniently located to the trail along the water and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the city center of Middleburg. Plus, the parking was free and right next to the building.

Meliskerke is a small place, but if you want peace and quiet it's perfectly located. A nice farm in the neighbourhood with animals for kids to see, a playground, but most important, the beach, Veere, Neeltje Jans, Middelburg, all within 10/20 minutes drive.
