Excellent facilities, Rhys and Anna are very friendly and helpfull in providing travel information. Breakfast was extensive, you can select from a variety dishes which are prepared freshly. Kotare is located in a beautyfull landscape and can also serve as a base camp for a longer stay.

Superb location with lovely gardens. Peaceful and perfect to wake up to a bellbirds/tuis chorus and watch the quail’s running through the garden. Room very comfy and tidy with nice breakfast supplied. Hosts are really nice people and happy to share stories and local knowledge. Would definitely stay here again.
What can I say? From the moment I arrived at the property I was made to feel welcome. The host were absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a relaxing picturesque comfortable stay. No regrets!!
