If you have a car this is a fantastic location. Less than 30 minutes away to Lisbon and short drives to bigger shops and malls. The area itself was super nice and calm and right next to a beach which wasn't too crowded.

An extremely charming ‘local Portuguese’ town with many excellent restaurants on the Tagus river estuary across the vasco de gama bridge from Lisbon. an easy jaunt by car or by the ferry at Montijo. This is a lovely relaxing village, not a place for nightlife and excitement; for that you have to go to lisbon. With that said, the bartenders at Pelourinho make a great Manhattan!JohnUnited States of America

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Madalena, the bartender, was so excellent and friendly that I felt like I was leaving family when we had to leave! The parking was easy. We found a space right in front of the hotel. It is in an area that is not too busy but there was a great bakery a quick walk down the street. We only stayed one night before flying home so I can't speak for things to do in the area but the hotel was fantastic!

The staff was very helpful and friendly, always with a smile on their face, especially the reception staff. The apartments and rooms themselves were clean and spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Also, the spa was a good addition - with a relatively large pool, a Finnish sauna and a Turkish bath. Would also recommend for families with small children.

Alcochete is a pretty small town with a great view of Lisbon across the water. Deluxe room is spacious with a seating area at the end of the bed and lovely window seats overlooking a garden. This is my go-to accommodation when I need to be near Lisbon.

You need a car for sure but within minutes you’re in Montijo which has the Alegro forum and minutes to the outlet mall in Alcochete. Driving distance to 4-5 major supermarkets. And the Hosts were wonderful and attentive. Can’t wait to visit again !
