Moinhos das Marés, hotel in Fuzeta

Moinhos das Marés offers accommodations in Fuzeta, a 11-minute walk from Fuseta Ria Beach and 1.5 miles from Fuseta Mar Beach. This guest house provides free private parking and daily room service.

The room was cleaned every day, which is rare these days. The building has history (it’s an old mill), and when the tide was high, the view was nice. The walk in the salines (which is part of the property) was very nice, we saw flamingoes. There was free parking. There’s a terrace on the room which is probably great when the temperature allows you to take advantage of it. There is AC and heating so you can make the room comfortable all year round.

Villa Loreto, hotel in Fuzeta

Villa Loreto in Fuzeta provides adults-only accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a terrace.

The villa is located in a quiet, accessible area and is very easy to find. It suggests a stunning sea view to Ria Formosa and beautiful beaches. The infinite pool has surreal water color and is perfect to fresh up. The room and the common areas have unique design and are equipped with everything for the comfortable stay. We especially loved the tailor made breakfast with the rich variety and fresh fruits. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. I am definitely coming back for longer time, as it is just a perfect place.

    Fuseta is a charming place.

Fuseta is a charming place. Lovely beach with cafe, sun beds, umbrellas and calm water. Ferry out to island of Fuseta which is magnificent but can be very windy. There are no sun beds or umbrellas there in May. There are 2 railway stations in the village which is surprising for such a small place. One can travel the length of the Algarve on the train. The market is small but full of delicious fruit, veg and fish. Nearby Restaurant A Lota is to be recommended for delicious fresh fish. If you want a quiet holiday Fuseta is the place to come.

    We loved it!

We loved it! So beautiful, the sunrise was breathtaking and so were the views. An early morning walk on the wetlands and the flamingos were incredible. A couple of minutes walk to the buzzing square - full of locals and energy. The beach was heavenly. It was really special. The observations I made were just purely to enhance an already wonderful experience. Thankyou

Fuzeta is a fishing village/small town.

Fuzeta is a fishing village/small town. It is quiet and welcoming in January and there is a good choice of restaurants. There are lovely walks in the Ria Formosa National Park and along the beaches.

    Beautiful little fishing town.

Beautiful little fishing town. I’d say perfect for a romantic or relaxing stay. Not much to do but walk eat relax and sleep… perfect ! Beautiful architecture in the houses in a classic Portuguese design. There was even a veg/ vegan restaurant! Locals allow you to just fit in without bother. Beach is stunning and interesting. We got a taxi from Faro airport which took about 25 minutes and was 35 euros. The drivers both ways w ere very informative about the area so it’s worth picking their brains. If you are coming here be prepared for a sleepy relaxing town… well out of season anyway. I don’t think many no. Portuguese tourist come here so it’s very authentic

    We liked Estudios Salinas!

We liked Estudios Salinas! In the summer it would be a great place to stay in summer. In April there was no ferry to the beach, and I think that should be stated. Also, more info about how to get to beaches would be appreciated, such as: go to Olhao and take a ferry. The water taxis and boat trips from Fuzeta were extorsion--way too expensive for every day. But Fuzeta is a nice village, the choice of restaurants and cafes is nice, the lagoon is scenic for one day.

During our stay we had accommodations in the Ria Suite. This is a comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom and an attached patio that offers stunning views of the lagoons and sea. Very well kept property and walking distance to the quayside and Fuseta (awesome bird watching). It was easy to hop a ferry to Ilha Fuseta or enjoy the beach on the lagoon. The hosts, Jose and Francoise, were absolutely top notch - and their restaurant recommendations were ON POINT! Highly recommend this location - quiet, clean and comfortable.

The position , the house, the village, the view. The main double bedroom was amazing. The house is beautifully decorated. When encountered a problem with outside light, they were prompt in there response. This property is close to the restaurants in the village and they are fantastic. ( Booking advised even though it was early June). Close to ferry to fuseta island. There is also a train station in the village, which we used to visit Faro & Tavira.

I liked the unusual construction and location of the hotel. It’s much closer to the town than the pictures suggest and is an easy walk to the restaurants etc. The car parking is good and secure. Room is basically just a bedroom with small bathroom. Everything you need for an overnight stay.

A beautiful place with lovely hosts. Everything is spotlessly clean. The rooftop terrace is great. We loved Fuzeta and want to come back here. It's quiet at this time of year. Just a simple, relaxing, easygoing little village. Exactly what we like.
