A super short stay!
My wife and I and our young puppy were made very welcome by Senhora Leonora. The location is quiet and relaxed with plenty of living room and a nice patio looking onto fields. Breakfast was delicious and included home made jams. We really had a very nice stay at Casa Robusto, an authentic place with a charming owner.

Very peaceful location with easy access whether you want to be heading in the direction of Lisbon or Santarem/Almeirim etc. There is no traffic noise. The garden is private and the pool a perfect little oasis to decompress. We only used one bed, but the mattress was firm and sleep was easy. Bed linen crisp and fresh. There are three coffee machines, so coffee lovers are definitely catered for LOL. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans and utensils for preparing food, and plenty of space to do so. On a personal note I loved that the cooking knives were all very sharp. A dull knife is a bane of mine.

Everyone was very friendly and it was a great place to pass the new year’s eve for someone how doesn’t like crowds and the typical parties and hangs outs. The owner is very lovely, helpful and very sweet, made our stay really comfortable. The house is tiny but it’s great for 2-3 people and has all the necessary. Just no wifi, but nothing serious to affect our rating.

The property is located in a very peaceful area of Valada , beautiful village very close to the river and some cafes. Decoration was on point, as well as the facilities. The host was very responsive and helpful which I believe is an extra point!
