I was in town for homecoming.

I was in town for homecoming. This hotel is the perfect location in Colonial heights , mall , restaurants , gas stations , stores and the school was a few minutes up the road. 20-30 min drive to Richmond not to far from from tidewater area.

The hallway smelled weird (assuming from carpet cleaner).

The hallway smelled weird (assuming from carpet cleaner). And it could use larger trash bins in the room. We didn’t love the guests smoking out front while we were walking in. There was only a pull out recliner, no pull out bed so a family of 5 doesn’t fit well.

Facility in need of updating. Receipt did not reflect Booking rate. Had to call next day for adjustment. Linens were terrible two very small thread bare bath towels I didn’t know you could still buy towels like that. No USB ports for charging electronics.

We had a great time at Old Towne Escape Room downtown.

We had a great time at Old Towne Escape Room downtown. We would definitely recommend an outing there. Also went bowling at The Bowling Alley. Swaders was also fun even though a lot of their activities were limited due to CV19. We wanted to go the battleground and museums but the heat index was 110 so outdoor trips were limited. We will be going back!

Our room was great except the shower knob was very difficult to adjust. It went from very hot to too cold with just a touch. The staff was very accommodating and tried to help with any question. The breakfast was terrific and the lovely staff member that ran it was very, very helpful. She made breakfast a great experience!

There was a train nearby but was quiet for the most part, in a secluded area, which was nice for privacy. The room was very clean, including bedding and dresser drawers. I appreciated the material of furniture - only the couch was cushion material. Also, the couch was a nice touch to the room, but I did not sit on it. I searched for evidence of bugs (roaches, bed bugs, etc and did not see any). I could ignore writing, etc on the room walls because of the price. The young man in the front office was very personable!

I only liked the size of the room but that was literallly all. There was no room services going door to door offering to clean the room and they only give you one towel and rag per person. The sheets had cigarette burns on them and staines. The floor was filthy with ashes and other residue. The tv remote was dead. The entire room had a stale smell. They did have gambeling games in the lobby so I thought they would possibly use the monety ro renovate. The hotel is a disaster and not even worth $60 a night.

Breakfast sucked . The lady preparing was wonderful . The hotel is filthy and in I’ll repair. Nasty stained on walls in room . Hair in bed linens ( slept in clothes on top of comforter) . Trash in ice bucket upon arrival . Dirty wall and floors . Opened drapes and dust flew everywhere . Paid $168.00 for this disaster . I’m totally appalled . The lady at front desk even wondered why I was paying 168.00. Lady from front desk was hanging out with friend and never at front desk . You should refund me .

Room was really good. Beds were comfortable. The staff are so nice and helpful. Very shocked for location and price of how good it was. Usually hotels near a highway are just dash and goes and not the best because people are in and out. 10/10 hotel. No complaints.

Seemed clean, but did find a fingernail on one of the bed sheets, slight odor throughout room and building. There was no blow dryer in bathroom. It was ok for a one night stopover. Staff was friendly and courteous.
