Given the over the top hotel prices in the Ft Lauderdale area, we enjoyed the overall good value. The staff is really helpful and friendly. We had a small problem with our TV and the service guy fixed it in record time. Parking is free and close to the room.

Breakfast was not organized considering all the people there. We were constantly waiting for something, whether it was eggs, or fruit, or plates or coffee, and the waffle batter was clogged. Many people were upset! Our room and the amenities were perfect though!

The property was well kept for the most part. Definitely value for money. The tall dark-skinned bellman was very courteous as were all the other staff members, especially in the dining room. Food was in abundance with a wide variety to choose from. Cassandra at the tour desk was very friendly and helpful, likewise the front desk staff.

Love the breakfast (pancakes and cinnamon rolls), and the coffee was exceptional! I have stayed at Hilton Hotels (Doubletree, and Homewood suites in New Hampshire and Los Angeles- and the coffee in breakfast area was not desirable. The coffee at Holiday Inn Express was A+. Moreover, the pillows were the best pillows I ever used. How did they find such comfortable pillows!!!
