Room was clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast was pretty standard fair. It was quite expensive for the standard of the hotel but it is in the center of town close to all bars and restaurants.

Very friendly staff. Big rooms. Very clean. Great bed. Great with the outdoor firepit (free firewood incl.). Lovely location just about a mile or two both from Hill City and the 2 wineries in the area.
Great idea to put a list of places to eat in the area in the room.
Conveniently located off Interstate 90 in the heart of the Black Hills mountain range, the EverSpring Inn & Suites is only 10 miles from Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

I love the country side vibes, it’s peaceful and not chaotic. I love the steak house on Main Street it was by far the best on our stay. There were many activities around the area, wish we stayed a bit longer. Definitely will come back next time!

Hill City is perfect for couples or families wanting to visit the Black Hills area of South Dakota. It had great restaurants very near our hotel, like the Chute Rooster. There was a winery and a brewery nearby. The town was walkable and had great shopping. It was very close to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy horse monument area. Also Custer National Park and Windcave National Park. It had a lot going on but didn't seem too busy. We will definitely come back and stay here if we come to this area again.

We've been to Hill City many times over the years.
We've been to Hill City many times over the years. History, the train, nearness to Mount Rushmore, and surrounding scenery are the biggest draws of Hill City. Quality of food was lacking. Steak was questionable as to what it really was at the Alpine Inn and the Pizza at the big restaurant on the corner was horrible. Other than that, Hill City is a neat old historical town, but it ain't like it was just a few years ago.

We stayed on the second floor and there is no elevator but that was not an issue for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and quality coffee :) It was very close to Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer Park (which has a great wildlife loop - don't miss it!) Being so close allowed us to visit the places more than once in a day which is a nice option. The entry fees to these places all allowed you to come and go for a couple days. All in all this was a very convenient place to stay at a very reasonable price.

The hotel was fine, the front staff was professional and housekeeping was great! Parking is tight with large full size truck. We had to park away from our room due to tight parking. The entrance was a bit unusual to access.
These are very well build and designed cabins in the woods just outside of Hill City. Very peaceful place to stay that feels rustic and in nature in the middle of very busy and tourist Black Hills. We really love the Black Hills area and this helps us enjoy being there. Is relatively close to Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, ATV rentals, 1880 Train, riding some of the fantastic gravel Michelson bike trail, etc, which we did all of and more. A very good value if you have six or so people with you.
This is a lodge situated in a huge summer camp and RV park situated right between Hill City & Keystone. We don't have kids but the place looked like an amazing place to bring them in the summer with a tremendous amount of facilities and activities. We liked it because we were able to eat in Keystone Hill City, Custer, and Rapid City.
The rooms themselves were fine with a lovely view of the hill, we were very happy there.
When I arrived in Hill City, Minnesota, there was no such place. I drove down Main Street, which was a dirt road, there was no hotel, not even a house. I, of course, booked this online and am quite confused as to why or how this was possible. I would like a refund, please. Granted, I am almost 80 years old, but I have had years of working on the computer and am unsure how this happpened. Thank you.
I liked the beauty of the location, how it felt so far off the beaten track but was yet still very close to Hill City. It was a nice few days with our family and still close to all the attractions in the area. I would go back in a heartbeat for the relaxing environment and beauty of the area. It was very clean and nice to be able to grill our own meals in the evening.
It was a reasonably priced compared to others in the area considering the size of the rooms. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staying in Hill City was central to all the attractions in the area which was nice. Had a indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub available which we enjoyed. and the complementary breakfast was better than expected.
very clean, comfortable, and pleasant stay. hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. We really appreciated all the facilities including the guest laundry, continental breakfast, all day coffee, ice machine, and convenient parking in front of our room. the rooms were also very spacious, well stocked bathrooms, and comfortable beds.
The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. We had many questions and they answered them all. Only coffee was provided in the morning. With the limited breakfast choices in Hill City, a donut or sweet roll would have been welcome. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Very friendly staff. Big rooms. Very clean. Great bed. Great with the outdoor firepit (free firewood incl.). Lovely location just about a mile or two both from Hill City and the 2 wineries in the area.
Great idea to put a list of places to eat in the area in the room.
We loved our stay here. Deb is a wonderful host and the place is very clean and cute. We loved having a place to sit together and plan our day while watching deer frolic near by. Hill City is the perfect central location to see the Black Hills.
We used the 2 queen and 1 King size room all in one. It was very big and comfortable for the whole family. The breakfast was good and a lot of choices. Hill City is beautiful and a fun town to walk around. We would definitely come back here. Gina
Yummy cinnamon rolls and other decent choices at continental breakfast - even 1/2 way decent coffee. Great location - can easily walk to downtown Hill City. Mickelson Trail trailhead less than 2 blocks from hotel.
The location was just beautiful. The deck and patio is a great place to just relax. There was so much to see and do around the lodge as well as a very nice Hill City with lots of souvenir shops and restaurants.
Loved the location. Centrally located for all the attractions we did. Went to Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, and Black Elk Peak hike. Close to both Hill City and Keystone.
Perfect location between Keystone and Hill City! Beautiful property, very nice owners. Clean, comfortable, and quiet! We loved the nightly camp fires and using the Tap room !
