We did not stay at Edgewater Inn because of a electrical problem in our room. So the owner gave us a room in Marker 8 which was really beautiful. Thank you very much and thanks to the electrician who made it possible 😊

loved the layout and was able to walk everywhere I wanted to visit and loved the historical sites and locations since I am a history buff and liked the museums I have visited as well and the large Spanish stone fort I enjoyed very much as well. I would come and visit St. Augustine again and often in the future.

St. Augustine is beautiful.
St. Augustine is beautiful. Walking over The Bridge of Lions was something I had wanted to do. I finally did! I felt safe in the historic area. Good array of shops and restaurants. I can’t wait to go back.

Many of the sites were in or adjacent to the old city which made it convenient to do several things. We took a ghost tour and learned about the history of the city. My daughter and I enjoyed the shops on St. George while my husband toured the fort. He said it was very interesting. We ate at Mojo’s barbecue which was very good and finished our trip visiting the lighthouse. Loved it! I would like to take another trip to St. Augustine to see more of the city.

So many things to see have to come back.
So many things to see have to come back. A lot of places were not disabled person friendly. I would of like to see more, but as a disabled person. I was disappointed for me and my family. Iver all need about a week or more.

We loved St Augustine!
We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!

St Agustine is a great vacation spot.
St Agustine is a great vacation spot. Dinners were more expensive then expected. traffic was heavy, but St Agustine was a fabulous place to visit and good place to take the kids. all the attractions even though you have to pay for them, have allott of interesting history.
Staff was great. They met all our needs. Very friendly and accommodating. Nice warm breakfast every morning. Room was just as described, very spacious, clean, modern, and beautiful view of ocean. Perfect place for a beach vacation. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Steps from the beach. Perfect for tanning and long walks. Just far enough away from crowds and close to so much dining in St. Augustine and Vilano beach area. Grocery 2 blocks away. Beach chairs, umbrellas, towels provided by the hotel! Definitely a place to return to!
good location relative to the beaches and the historic district downtown. beds were pretty comfy. room was mostly clean, free parking, good price, great TV, able to park just right outside the door, lots of plug-ins for chargers, etc... free coffee, decent sized mini fridge and room looked pretty nice. newly renovated. food and drink available to buy at front desk. very cold ac - the best part of all - slept great.
So much to like: great location within walking distance to numerous good restaurants, shops and attractions; nice view of the River, especially from the 2nd floor outdoor seating area; clean and comfy rooms; complimentary breakfast and parking (a real plus in historic St. Augustine); the quieter side of the historic district; and last but certainly not least, a fantastic staff!
The condo was comfortable, clean, and well furnished. Everything was in working order.
The thermostat was a little difficult to manage, but figured it out.
The location offers nearby beaches off A1A and is a short 20 minute drive or so into the center of St. Augustine. The bridge into St. Augustine was pretty congested on Saturday.
We were happy with our stay!
They had an incredible hot breakfast, with something a little different each morning. We also loved the courtesy shuttle that took us to downtown St. Augustine each day. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be taken into town, or return to our hotel. The staff at this hotel couldn't be more friendly or helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
We wanted a clean place within walking distance of the historic district of St. Augustine that was budget friendly for our 3 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Some say the A/C unit is loud, but It didn't bother us as we sleep with the noise of a dehumidifier and fans at home.
I booked a room at the Smart Stay Inn in Saint Augustine Florida, although it wasn't a bad place to stay the reviews were untrue. One review said it was right at the Beach which is completely false. The downtown Saint Augustine was at least 20 minutes away and not close to any sites we wanted to visit.
The hotel is the same as the photos shown. It was clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We went with our puppy and I love that it is a pet friendly place.
Karina at the front desk, was amazing and super helpful welcomed us excellent. We will definitely come back here!
The hotel is in a perfect location: the center of Saint Augustine! The staff is very welcoming and ready to help! Despite the small size of the room (due to the fact that everything in St. Augustine is old), there is a great bath tube and the rooms are cozy!!!
The restaurant inside your hotel is excellent! We had dinner 2 nights and breakfast 1 morning while we were there. The waiters were awesome!
The bed in our room was very comfortable.
The hotel was close to where we wanted to be.
Location is perfect for how is going to St. Augustine to visit the historic district, the hotel is nice, there's a piece of history which is the Old Senator Tree, the break fast for good and there plenty of parking spaces.
The room was clean and quiet. The location was excellent. Downtown St. Augustine was just a short walk across the Bridge of Lions, saving the hassle of driving and paying for parking.
The location was misleading. It is not located downtown in the Historic District. We wanted to stay downtown in the Historic District. Will not stay there again.
The unit living area was well appointed. The grounds of the property are immaculate. In a safe area, but at least a 20-30 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine.
The property is only a few years old, location for visiting St Augustine and surrounding area is ideal. Has parking at the hotel and the beach is a 5 minute walk
