I grew up in East London & completed my schooling there. Very family oriented city with lots to do, beautiful beaches, sporting activities & several shopping malls with a variety of shops & restaurants.
The breakfast was superb and vegetarian options were specially provided. The owner and her daughter welcomed us and made us feel right at home, like old family. The home is beautiful and furnished with antiques and works of art. We had a private spacious deck overlooking the Nahoon River. The shady garden is lovely and the swimming pool would be a great plus in summer. Secure parking is available. I would definitely stay here again on any future visit to East London. Baie dankie, Ansa en Ilsa vir julle gasvryheid!
It was my first time visiting the hotel and I loved my stay there. Location was perfect. I enjoyed the New year eve fireworks, was such a fantastic display. Beautiful views and very convenient to the restaurants, shops and even aquarium nearby. Breakfast was awesome.
I like everything except there was no fridge and microwave in rooms, but the manager provides us with ice cubes
Bed are comfortable, The security guy keep to good work for solving those inconsiderate ppl who made noise turning this comfortable hotel into a tarven
The food was nice but the buffet process was frustrating. The queue for the eggs was extremely long. Some breakfast items ran out and they were not replenished. The hotel is perfectly located, you have private access to the beach and lagoon.
Not enough coffeee and tea, one set of bathroom towels. I was confronted in the morning if what time I was leaving the hotel, dont esxpect this, I thougth if you book a suite there are always exception, any way that was before 10 am
Michelle was extremely accommodating and her energy was amazing, she made the stay very memorable and my grand daughters love her as well. I feel like I have made a friend for life. It was way better than any hotel service.
