The landlord communicated with us before arrival and instructed us about directions and opening the gate. Upon arrival, we met and he explained everything about using the house and the garden. The outside sofa and chairs were nice for sunny evenings. Once the electricity breaker went off due to simultaneous baking, cooking and boiling water when preparing the dinner, but we restarted the electricity based on the instructions immediately, so the instructions were exactly about the possible scenarios. The living room and the dining table were perfect for my five students and myself with enough room and comfort. The food supermarket was across one street. When selecting the accommodation, the main criterion for us was a safe parking space for the long VW Caravelle and proximity of the city center. The garden provided more than a safe parking lot and city center was within five to ten minutes of walk. The three bedrooms provides privacy for male and female students. The single toilet got quite busy during peak hours, but life is not about sitting at the toilet, right? The bathroom with a shower was clean, easy to use and equipped with extra air heater which was useful during colder days. Otherwise, the central heating kept the the house comfortably warm. Even though the front street is sloped and with busy traffic all day, the solid gate and the high solid fence insulated the noise, simply there was now disturbance from the street even when sitting in the garden. To sum up, this accommodation provided a comfortable stay in the city center in a private house with zero stress regarding safe parking of a big car.

The property was massive and much better than we thought. The outside space is incredible, the kitchen is huge and well stocked with everything you’d ever need to cook and the host is fabulous. You can walk to the local town in 30 mins and a beautiful vineyard in 40 mins. Would highly recommend and will deffo come back!

Although a little out of the centre of Aix it has an excellent bus connection the the centre only 100 metres away. The facilities in the property are very modern and cannot be faulted. The hosts are very helpful and generous, they make their own, very drinkable, wine.

We loved the outdoor space; the pool, the ping pong table, the foosball table, the hammock. the kind and gracious hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay great. The property was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could need for our stay.

Fantastic house with everything you could need and even things you didn’t think you would need, we especially loved the baguette holder. Even nuts, chips etc left for us. Bed very comfortable, lovely large bathroom. Beautiful view from the patio. Able to walk into town (fairly decent walk though), and we got a bus back to near the river so just a quick walk home. Visits from the dog in the evening made it extra special. We would love to return.

Lovely private guesthouse on grounds of v large house. Simply decorated with quality and style. Definitely the nicest place we have stayed at over two summers of travelling around France. Good value for us as a single couple. Would be outstanding value for two couples and plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen and good quality soaps in bathroom.
