Very clean, nicely decorated, love the upstairs bedroom with the hare wallpaper.. Bathrooms very comfortable and clean. The sun porch and gardens were lovely! it was quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were friendly.

It was everything we wanted in a countryside escape and more - the pub had excellent food and great beers, the historical building and surrounding area were gorgeous, the room was cosy and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. What really made our stay here extra special though was the generosity and warmth of the management. The team here truly understands hospitality and will make you feel not just welcome, but at home. The owners were fantastic and made the stay very comfortable. The lodge itself was very comfy and cosy, all the facilities were exceptionally clean and well set out. The hot tub was a welcomed addition as well and easy to use. On top of this the owners left freshly made bread for us alongside fresh milk, jam and butter. These touches were particularly special. Would throughly recommend the lodge and hope to be back.

Lovely garden room and garden in a very small pretty village. We had a walk around the village after dinner - lovely old church and thatched cottages. Nice views towards the White House landmark.
