We absolutely loved everything about this property. The outside of the property can be deceiving, but once you enter, Miguel and Maria Joao have created a tranquil haven in the midst of Porto. Their attention to detail is exceptional and we were super impressed by how they designed and created Ruby Guesthouse. Rooms were super clean. Every amenity (and more) were available in the rooms, and when it wasn't raining, we loved hanging out in the garden with a drink after long days of walking all over Porto. We also had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time chatting with both Miguel and Maria Joao, and we left feeling that we had made two new friends in Porto. :)

Everything looked new and very clean. Air conditioning in all rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. It even includes an airfryer and a freezer. Several times we got fresh fish in a nearby supermarket and prepared it ourselves. Nice sitting room with comfortable sofa and large TV screen. That was nice as we had some days with heavy rain. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. Just be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs with about 15 steps to climb. Shopping is easy. There are several supermarkets in the area. The appartement is very conveniently situated. It’s a 10 min walk to the shopping area around Bolhao. The metro station Trindade is just 5 min away. Check-in was easy as we could pick up the keys directly at the apartment. We didn’t find the safe box at first. It is directly at the entrance to the apartment. Communication was friendly and easy.

The apartment is very cozy and located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood not so far from Porto city centre. Communication with the host Joao was excellent, very informative and responsive. It was wonderful to enjoy breakfast out on the patio as well. Thumbs up!

I usually travel a lot and stay at fancy places ( hotels or apartments), but my stay at Boavista Luxury Villas was something I’ve never experienced before. During the check Marta met us & literally helped us dragging our luggage ! she was very polite , friendly & helpful ! The apartment itself was spotless, exactly like the pictures if not prettier, it smelled perfect, the beddings, towels, & furniture were of exceptional comfort & quality. This property had excellent wifi connection. The location is excellent.I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone of my family & friends.

The apartment was fantastic!! Quiet area, small but well furnished grocery store a few meters away. A bus station with good service downtown was a one minute walk from the apartment. Free parking on the street. But againthe apartment itself was the highlight!!!

I really enjoyed my daily swim and sauna before going out to dinner.
