We liked everything! Very spacious, clean, well equipped, comfortable. The owner even provided some buns, coffee pods, ground coffee, tea, vinegar, olive oil, jam. The swimming pool was lovely and the ocean pool was gorgeous! The accommodations were perfect!!

What stands out: the friendly, kind and attentive owner, Rui, helps you with organising your stay (rental car, leisure activities and similar) if you'd like to, and he will make sure to be available and respond to your questions and needs during your stay; the apartment is excellent value for money; it has a perfect strategic location to visit any part of the island if you have a car; this is subjective, of course, but in my view, Vila Franca do Campo is one of the best choices in terms of locations on São Miguel even if you don't have a car or if you travel solo; the apartment has all the amenities you might need even during a more extended stay; it has comfortable beds; supermarkets and shops are nearby; within 10-15 minutes walking distance you have a lovely beach with fine sand and shallow enough water, the marina (where you can book and start different activities from (take a short ferry ride to the islet, diving, snorkelling, whale watching, etc.), have authentic queijadas for breakfast at "Queijadas do Morgado" and eat delicious seafood or meat dishes at one of the best restaurants of the island with the most lovely views to the ocean from its balcony, "Atlântico Azorean Restaurant" .

It's like in the pictures! The apartment is beautiful and spacious, and has an amazing view on the island of Vila Franca. It's location is so nice, so close to the beach, and to the harbor, where they have whale watching activities, and offer ferry trips to the small island. The host Ana was incredibly friendly and generous!! Because our flight was early in the morning , she prepared a beautiful basket with typical foods for breakfast for us. Also because of flight delays we missed the first night, and Ana offered to refund the lost night! She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants, the Atlantico Azorean Restaurant was fantastic! Would definitely stay there again!

Because of the wind and rain we did not use it often but there is enough place to sit. Two sunbeds and beautiful flowers. Wasmachine and dishwasher behind the kitchen. Big bedrooms with high beds. Cosy livingroom and lots of nice art on the wall. Walking distance to restaurants, small supermarket and postoffice. Big supermarket pingo when you drive into town. We enjoyed our stay here.
