Property has two beautifully mature lilac bushes that were in full bloom during our stay. The facilities were perfect for our purpose and everything we needed for the kitchen existed here. The beds are comfortable.

The location of this cottage was incredible!! Across the street from a beautiful park on the Deschutes and easy walking distance to both downtown and the Mill District, walking/jogging on the Deschutes River Trail, and centrally located to drive to all the great recreation in the region. I wish the weather had been a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the lovely patio. Comfy and well-equipped cottage was a perfect home base.

Check in was quick and easy. The person who checked me in was very friendly and pleasant. I was offered the wifi password and access to the pool/hot tub without asking. The room included a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker, with iron and plenty of extra sheets and towels. The shower gave hot water pretty fast with no wait. There was a comfortable workspace to set up my laptop, and easy access to outlets from the bed. Parking was close and accessible.

The staff are friendly. The breakfast is delicious, especially the coffee. And I love that they offer trays so you can take your breakfast back to your room. It's also in a great location if you like to walk or run. Easy access to the river trail along paved pathways that pass directly in front of the hotel. I will definitely be back!

But also hiking trails start from the loge / your room.... (very convenient if you have dogs). Nice little cafe at the reception with outside fireplaces. Cafe can be very cosy if there are (outdoor) people (or music) .but during the week it was very quiet Room is quiet reasonable charge for dogs. There was an outside (big) hot tube but we did not get a chance to use it.
