We recently stayed at Casa Alibri which is located an hour's walk from the beach, and we were blown away by its tranquil surroundings, the beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. The hosts were incredibly lovely and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The food was amazing and really added to the overall experience. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The added bonus of a beautiful nearby river with waterfalls where you can swim is just the cherry on top!

Set in Minca, 24 km from Santa Marta, Reserva Natural Tierra Adentro offers free WiFi. Each unit features a terrace with mountain views, and a private bathroom with shower. We loved everything about the property. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The mountains, the jungle, the impressive amount of beautiful birds, the milder temperature and everything about this place is just unbelievable; like a dream come true. The reserve has different cabanas located alongside the mountain side. They’re all quaint, unique and full of charm. Every single part of the location is well taken care of. The staff is hard working, kind and always ready to offer help with whatever is crossing your mind at the moment. We had certain issues regarding our room at first and they moved heaven and earth so we could be more comfortable and happy. Greys has always a smile on her face and was always there for us same as the rest of her team. Food was very good, breakfast was wholesome and delicious. Their menu is varied and with plenty of options, although we would’ve liked to have more local dishes. Can’t talk about food or kitchen without mentioning Carlitos, the guy is a genius, everything he made was well seasoned, yummy and plentiful. We can’t recommend him enough, if he’s cooking the day you’re there, you’re in for a treat. And last but not least, we loved all the extra activities you can do while in the reserve, there are cacao tours (super informative and yummy), coffee tours and several waterfalls in the vicinity. We were never bored although you could always stay on one of the multiple hammocks that there are throughout the property and relax listening to the the birds, looking at the stunning sunsets or just enjoying your favorite book.

Boasting mountain views, Villa Tayrona features accommodation with balcony, around 2.7 km from Castilletes Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

I loved the installations and the surroundings. They take great care of details, for instance, there were flowers in the bathroom. The food was amazing and plated magnificently. The place is extremely quiet. I highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway.

Set within 19 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 22 km of Santa Marta Gold Museum, Villa Canopy Minca provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Minca. This place was perfect! By far the best place we have stayed at in our travels abroad. The view was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the rainforest and Santa Marta in the far distance. The shared living space was immaculate, and every detail in the building's design has been throughly mapped out. The hammocks and resting net were super comfortable and added to the ambience of being in our own little paradise. To add, the building is brand new and all amenities are state of the art and beautiful. The view from the room and bathroom was stunning and added tranquillity to the experience. We bought some food in Minca to cook back at Villa Canopy, and we found this was super efficient. We were also getting moto rides back and forth from Minca at $15,000 COP per person, which we loved as well! Rosa and her family were extremely helpful with any attention we needed, and communication with management was easily accessible at all times. Without a doubt, this is the place you MUST stay in Minca, and we highly recommend this little slice of paradise.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, GLAMPING BAReKE AZUL2 is situated in Santa Marta. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

Situated within 46 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 49 km of Santa Marta Gold Museum in Santa Marta, Salvia Madre features accommodation with seating area. Stunning property in the middle of the jungle, everything is well kept and all the details taken care of, the staff is kind and super helpful always looking for you to have the best possible experience, the room was clean, organised and better than the pictures. Food and drinks where also amazing and lot’s of plans to do. Unfortunately we book a very short time for such paradise. Excellent value for money
