We liked the stay so much we booked another night. The rooms are what you are in the photos but they are perfectly sized for a couple. And the facility is clean and has free laundry service. Which my wife and I loved. When we came there after a long day of travel they greeted us with a fresh coconut welcome drink which was chilled! Exactly what we needed. I think you won't go wrong with this one. The restaurant next to this place has good tasty breakfast with chill vibes.

If you are looking for a typical hotel experience, this may not be your place. If you are looking for something off the beaten path more about personal wellness and being in nature, this is your perfect choice. The place was amazing with great hikes and waterfalls directly on the property. The food was excellent. Everything was very clean and the wifi worked well enough. This place offered a great combination of feeling like you are secluded in nature but also providing you with modern day amenities. There arent many guests staying there and at times we felt alone. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Pretty much any reasonable request will be granted. Thank you Johnny and EZ for a wonderful time!

The perfect place to stay for a few days in La Fortuna. The host was lovely and communication was easy, the bungalows were very modern and super clean. You can park in front of your bungalows which we liked, and the property is within walking distance from the Rainforest Chocolate Tour (which I really recommend too!) and close to La Fortuna waterfall as well.

These comfortable villas feature a common use outdoor pool, free parking and Wi-Fi access, plus they include the continental breakfast for its guests. Our stay at the San Rafael ecolodge was absolutely FANTASTIC! I cannot even begin to describe how much we enjoyed ourselves. Giovanni and Luis were so, so kind and accomodating, they constantly went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. They helped us book activities and taught us so much about the area and the culture. We came with 6 kids and stayed in two villas, they were perfect for us. Waking up to the sounds of nature in the magnificent surrounding rainforest was unforgettable. The lodge is close to all of the attractions around La Fortuna and it was easy to find our way around. The grounds of the lodge are magnificent, and the kids loved looking for creatures in the forest and streams surrounding the cabins.
