Offering a garden and river view, The Fiddichside Inn is located in Aberlour, 30 km from Huntly Castle and 35 km from Grantown Museum. The staff were very welcoming and very accommodating. Due to adverse weather conditions, we had to book at the last minute . We were stressed from driving hours trying to get home. Everything was perfect on arrival, nice and cosy 😊 the people in the little pub on the side of the accommodation were lovely and we had little chats about the history of the property which was really nice .

Set in Ballater and only 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Unique tiny house with wood fired roll top bath in heart of the Cairngorms offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private... Great location and walk to the town from the house. Wood fired tub was a nice experience. Such a well out tiny home, family of 4 was very comfortable!

Set in Stonehaven, Stonehaven ground floor home with a spectacular harbour view. Offers a restaurant and sea views, 200 metres from Carron Beach and less than 1 km from Cowie Beach. The cottage was wonderful. We all enjoy our stay. It was a great respite in our busy travel schedule.

Set in Garvock in the Grampian region, Hillingworth's Hot Tub Retreat - St Cyrus features a patio. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The caravan was clean and had everything we would need/use readily at hand i.e. Towels, cutlery, crockery,tv, soap, even tea, coffee &sugar. The hot tub was lovely! The host went above and beyond when I left my coat and mailed it back to me. Would recommend 👍

Boasting garden views, Dormie Cottage, lovely bright and spacious bungalow with wood fire provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 18 km from Balmoral Castle. Location for this space is great. Easy to walk into town for dinner and groceries. A lot of things to do around the area as well! Would stay here again.

Located in Aboyne, within 32 km of Balmoral Castle and 46 km of Huntly Castle, Cairngorm Bothies provides accommodation with a terrace as well as free private parking for guests who drive. We received an email with instructions for using the lock box with the key inside, and phone number for the host if there were any questions or we needed anything. Instead, someone was at the property to meet us and provide a short orientation. Water for the shower and taps is heated using the wood burning stove, so it was necessary to light the fire, and it had been a while since we had practiced this special skill. The host personally showed us her method and provided us a personal bbq with which we were unfamiliar. They don't have these in the US. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet we were only a few minutes from a village with a grocery, restaurant and nice parks.

Set 34 km from Inverness Castle, 26 km from Castle Stuart Golf Links and 29 km from Elgin Cathedral, Macbeth's Hillock offers accommodation located in Forres. I liked the peaceful location, the cleanliness, and the facilities. We had everything that we needed, and it was a lovely upgrade from camping. Having our own bathroom and kitchen in the pod makes it convenient and comfortable compared to similar places we have stayed in the past. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ/ fire pit that has been provided for each pod.

Offering a garden and garden view, Invercauld Lodges is situated in Ballater, 18 km from Balmoral Castle and 46 km from CairnGorm National Park. Walking distance to almost everything I needed in the village shopping area. The proximity to Balmoral Castle really surprised me too. Well manicured and very quiet neighbourhood, exactly what I wanted for a good break. Full marks to the self-catering facilities and cottage arrangement.

Excellent cottage for a multiday stay only a few minutes walk from the centre of town so very convenient. lots of room to relax and the private courtyard was perfect.
