King George's Hall je 30 km daleko.... Everyone was really lovely, so dog friendly and it was so quiet and relaxing! Booked to stay another night while we were there. The first night we went to the Bay Horse Inn with the dog which was recommended and it was really lovely food. The 2nd night, we got an Indian takeaway delivered from Bombay lounge, which was one of the best Indian takeaways I have had!

Close to local pubs post office and village hall. Everything you need is fully equipped for romantic, walking weekend. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect. The property is spacious and very comfortable. I didn't use the air-fryer but I'm sure for some people it would be a treat. I loved having a washer, tumble-dryer and freezer available. Totally clean. All questions answered quickly....even silly ones! Great shower. Fabulously equipped kitchen. Everything we looked for was there. Spacious parking. Easy to work TV (they aren't all!!). Good Internet. Lovely location away from any busy area. I enjoyed seeing the horses wandering by.

This is, hands down, the best accomodation we have stayed in for the price. 3 double bedrooms, cosy lounge, kitchen/diner/reading space. We didn’t cook but everything one would need to prepare a meal and eat comfortably is there. There is even a freezer. Ideal location for us. A short walk to the castle, the numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants. There is a shop just around the corner and Sainsburys is a short walk away. The nature reserve is about 15 mins walk. Clitheroe is the ideal base for exploring this gorgeous part of England and Darryl’s place is the perfect place to stay. We highly recommend.

I would gladly come again.
