This was the most amazing place I have ever stayed in. The views were incredible, I could happily stay on the balcony all day and watch the cattle grazing. Sharon was such a wonderful host, very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were brilliant and the environment is very dog friendly. I will 100% definitely be staying again.

Located in Carnforth and only 25 km from Trough of Bowland, Ellers Farm Cottage provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We stay at Ellers Farm as bought our dog to Kentdale Veterinary Referrals from the Isle of Man The cottage is literally down the road which was extremely handy. Cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The owners are lovely and happy to accommodate requests. Ellers Farm is what it says on the tin, a working farm so please expect that as you are literally metres away from horses and cows which I loved!😊

Located in Over Kellet, Swallow cottage, Over Kellet offers accommodation 43 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 12 km from Cathedral Church of St Peter. Everything was perfect. The property is spacious and very comfortable. I didn't use the air-fryer but I'm sure for some people it would be a treat. I loved having a washer, tumble-dryer and freezer available. Totally clean. All questions answered quickly....even silly ones! Great shower. Fabulously equipped kitchen. Everything we looked for was there. Spacious parking. Easy to work TV (they aren't all!!). Good Internet. Lovely location away from any busy area. I enjoyed seeing the horses wandering by.

Set in Clitheroe in the Lancashire region, Cosy house set in historic town of Clitheroe features a terrace. Wow! This is, hands down, the best accomodation we have stayed in for the price. 3 double bedrooms, cosy lounge, kitchen/diner/reading space. We didn’t cook but everything one would need to prepare a meal and eat comfortably is there. There is even a freezer. Ideal location for us. A short walk to the castle, the numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants. There is a shop just around the corner and Sainsburys is a short walk away. The nature reserve is about 15 mins walk. Clitheroe is the ideal base for exploring this gorgeous part of England and Darryl’s place is the perfect place to stay. We highly recommend.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top, a property with a garden, is situated in Clitheroe, 43 km from Heaton Park, 49 km from Victoria Theatre, as well as 49 km from Manchester Arena. The setting and views were spectacular. The accommodation was stunning, beautifully fitted out. Very modern and stylish.

Kelvin House is a beachfront property set in Fleetwood, 300 metres from Fleetwood Beach and 300 metres from Marine Beach. Featuring sea and mountain views, this holiday home also features free WiFi. Huge room with sea view, well equipped kitchen, very comfy king bed, quiet. Kind hosts. (I received a free upgrade, as outside peak season.)

Located 36 km from North Pier, 36 km from Winter Gardens Conference Centre and 37 km from Blackpool Tower, Lunecliffe Country lodge-Lancaster Gateway to the Lakes features accommodation set in... The cabin was a home from home. Everything we could have needed. Literally the only thing we could think of adding was some form of egg timer! Wonderful size space, especially for the price. Not to mention the little touches and additional thoughts, like extea pillow, fans, the local takeaway menus and directions to eateries. We will definitely be back.
