Great place for a cozy stay! We had two nights and the second one we met a nice couple in the shared kitchen : we shared dinner and had a great time talking and laughing together ! What a wonderful evening ! That’s exactly what can be great with shared spaces! Super comfy bed and awesome views from the window! great time visiting the cows and the owners are really kind. Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. Location is awesome. We were lucky to be able to stay in one of the two separate cabins and we were extremely lucky with the weather so that we could enjoy memorable sunsets just right in front of the Kirkjufell . In my opinion the place is way much better from what you see in the photos. So if spending a couple of days in the Snaefellness peninsula consider Sudur as your best option.

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
