They surprised us with a free room upgrade when we checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, there was free parking on site, and the complimentary breakfast was more than enough! The staff was so kind and gave us great recommendations on things to do and sites to see around Vik. It was about a 20min drive outside of Vik which gave us great opportunities to view the Aurora Borealis on the property. I would highly recommend Solheimahjaleiga to anyone traveling through or looking to stay in the countryside of Iceland.

A must-do in Iceland! A magical, once in a lifetime experience! I highly recommend it, it's definitely worth it :)

Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub is situated nearby Reykholt. This property offers access to a terrace. This holiday home has a patio, a living room and a flat-screen TV. The location was wonderful. It was so relaxing and cozy at the cabin. The hot tub was a wonderful touch after a long day and it was great to take in the views. We felt very comfortable and at home here. I would recommend this place over and over again. I loved reading the log book and seeing all the wonderful/special stays that other people had here as well.
