Agriturismo Papyrus is a fascinating assemblage of buildings. The collection of pottery, sculpture, and the like is breathtaking. Our room was actually a suite with many modern features. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed seeing the animals. The staff was attentive.

Surrounded by its 10000 m² garden with hammock among the olive trees, Agrisicilia (Relax Mare e Natura) is located in Marinella di Selinunte, 2.9 km from Selinunte Archaeological Park. Wonderful cabins in a beautiful, peaceful setting amongst the olive trees. Quiet and private with our own small terrace, the cabin was a delight. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights and it was absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. We were able to park right beside our cabin and it was only a short drive to the ancient ruins of Selinunte. Thoroughly recommended.

Situated in Agrigento, 30 km from Heraclea Minoa, Agriturismo La Casa di Bacco features accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. Loved this place — the staff were so accommodating, particularly in helping to feed our picky 1 year old. He loved running around and seeing the animals. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere very relaxed, the location really handy for day trips. Would absolutely recommend.

B&B Villa San Marco is located actually in Agrigento's Valle dei Templi, only 500 metres from the major Greek temples. Its large garden includes a swimming pool. Exceptional setting in the hills around Agrigento. Many details in the estate to creaty a comfty and cosy atmosphere. Fantastic hosts who make the visitors feel like personal guests. The best breakfast I have ever had in Sicily - or Italy for that matter. The list can go on and on, but I will run our of superlatives before I can mention everything, so I just want to say a big THANK YOU!

Set in beautiful countryside less than 1km from Piazza Armerina, Villa Trigona is an 18th-century building with large gardens, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and numerous sports. The staff great, very kind and resourceful. We had great stay, the breakfast was good and the dinner was even better. Fresh produce with an authentic touch. We enjoyed our stay there, the place has a great atmosphere.

The location was amazing, fully equiped kitchen, view on Etna, unproblematic communication with hosts. The best appartement possible for families with small kids.

La Pietra di Giada has a balcony and is located in Siracusa, within just 600 metres of Porto Piccolo and 1.6 km of Tempio di Apollo. The apartment was super cosy. Big and extremely clean, it was a great value. Communication was very good, self check in was easy, and parking was easily available in the street. As a big plus, it was nicely decorated for Christmas, making us feeling home!

Set in the centre of Siracusa, Al Settimo porta marina offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and in a perfect location. Vincenzo and his son Michele did everything to make us feel welcome. When we visit Sicily again, Al Settimo porta marina will be our choice again.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Casa vacanze donna Pina features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 500 metres from Palermo Cathedral. Everything was amazing, the host was super helpful and friendly, the apartment was super new, well kept and clean, with comfortable and beds, amazing pillows, everything was smelling good and clean, there was even coffee, water and sodas as a welcome to the guests and laundry detergent. The location was excellent, near the main attractions in the historical center and a walking distance to restaurants and shops
