Siem Reap Comforts Hostel is a budget room with an independent room and a private bathroom, but the price is the price of a shared youth hostel, with high cost performance and large space; Siem Reap... A lovely hotel close to the main bars and restaurants but far enough away to escape the noise. Staff were all very helpful (Kim and Peap in particular) offering advice about tours and how best to see Angkor Wat. I would stay here again.

Passport Villa is located in Steung Thmey Village, within walking distance to Siem Reap’s Old Market, Night Market and other shopping and dining options. Very friendly hosts. Clean, good price, nice quiet location.

The meals are great, home cooked and good value. The hosts are lovely people, very attentive and caring, they were above and beyond helpful and helped us organize our sightseeing. They have a tuk tuk driver at a reasonable rate, he is also lovely, he gave us cold water and cold cloths to cool off at every stop.

The food was incredible - we wanted to go out to eat, but found that the food at the resort was better than anything. The swimming pool was fantastic - clean, and the perfect temperature. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When we left, my son asked why we couldn't just live there forever. I had no response. We didn't meet Caroline as she was away, but Julien was an amazing host.
