The swimming pool, the peace and quiet, the lake.. we didn’t even pay attention to the villa itself and still it was gorgeous and comfy. But the service, the place the location. Wow! We saw buffalos from the room, a crocodile, peacocks… it was AMAZING

The property consists of a 3 bedroom villa and a one bedroom bungalow. Each bedroom is ensuite with bathtubs and outdoor rain showers that are full of tropical plants. Both the villa and bungalow have open plan living room/kitchens and private outdoor dining areas with large teak tables. We definitely had a "wow" effect upon check-in, property is very nice, very quiet, we just wish we could have stayed longer as it was a one-night stay only, with a very early check out due to safari trip.

Kele Yala is located just 15 minutes and 7 km away from the Katagamuwa Entrance of Yala National Park, where there is less traffic compared to the main entrance of the National Park. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

Everything, I loved this hotel, it's worth every penny. The staff were so friendly, and actually very supportive. They helped me pack breakfast for the safari and it's so delicious (but the breakfast we had there in the morning was on a far next level). They put heart in what they do, i.e the pleasant scent in our room, the mosquitoes sticks on the balcony, the little light/candles along the way,... so many other things I like. We made a good choice booking a safari tour with the hotel, their tour guide, China (yes his name is China) has been doing his job for 20 years so he knew the best about the safari. We were able to see the majestic leopard thanks to China 🥰

The villa has a beautiful and unique interior, including a real tree, and has great views (I spotted an elephant from the rooftop!). The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They repeatedly went out of their way to make sure we had the best possible experience. The amazing staff really made this hotel stand apart from others.

Cabanas are near the river and surrounded by garden which provides a little safari in front of your window: tens of birds, monitor lizards, mongooses and many others. Real gem. Try it!!!

Free private parking is available on site. The place was designed in a special way that blends in with the outside nature, the host was amazing and unusually kind. All our needs were taken care of flawlessly. The food at the meals was very indulgent. We had a great experience and it's a shame we didn't stay more nights in this magical place!
