The rooms offer a rustic yet luxurious vintage African explorer aesthetic, and have every comfort available. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms and showers, all windows have insect nets, both rooms have air conditioning, and the kitchen has a gas stove and kettle for when loadshedding strikes. The cottage also comes with a potjie and indoor fireplace as well as outdoor Braai area, table, and private pool with a jacuzzi function. And the property has a resident purebred ridgeback who has the most gentle nature and is very friendly.

We came after a difficult drive and they made us feel so welcome. The self-catering unit was comfortable and clean. Load-shedding didn’t really affect us as the couple had a backup generator: We were offered a sumptuous breakfast and a short guide on where to see the animals in the park. Shame it was just an overnight for us, if we had stayed longer, we would have gotten Sorita’s expert guide services.

We were received by the owner personally who was very friendly and welcoming. We booked a single room, but Hester upgraded our booking to a self service cottage with excellent facilities. Breakfast was included in our booking and we still had the privilege of enjoying our breakfasts. Hester's husband also gave us an tour of the fossil museum, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A supper were offered at a very fair price, which we accepted and it was delivered to our cottage. Very tasty Karoo tripe and a chicken potjiekos.

Sky Holiday House är ett semesterhus med uteplats i östra delen av östra Kapprovinsen. Köket har diskmaskin, ugn och kaffekokare. En platt-TV med satellitkanaler och DVD-spelare ingår också. Marius and team were great hosts! Very accommodating, hence our second stay here. Lovely clean unit and great view over the farmland. Quiet area. Has a lovely enclosed braai area. Will definitely stay here next time we’re in EL!

River Front Estate ligger på stranden av floden Sundays och erbjuder boende med självhushåll i Addo. Addo Elephant National Park ligger 13 km bort. WiFi är gratis. Excellent spot, incredibly good value for money, wonderful welcome and great food in the restaurant. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer.
