We had have been this hotel for 7 nights. While we were in hotel and travelled forest park or other scenic spots, every staffs supported us in many cases. First of all, when we stay in this hotel we can contact to housekeeper in charge of picking up at airport, booking tickets for park entrance and ordering breakfast and supper at any time by WECHAT. If you are not familiar to Chinese letter and language, you can ask the housekeeper to book tickets or talk to taxi driver instead of you by WECHAT in English. Every staffs are kind and supportive even though they pay taxi fare instead of me when my Alipay got stuck. This hotel is near the "southeast gate" of forest park. You can walk through southeast gate in 5 minutes and take a shuttle bus to "水绕四门" from which you can go any scenic spot by transferring other shuttle bus. If you would like to go trekking to Jinbian Stream, this hotel is in the best location.

Situated in the centre of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tongfu inn (In the National Forest) is a 3-minute walk from Yangjiajie Cable Car Station and 1.2 km away from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park West Gate. Free tour consultancy, ticketing service and car rentals are offered at the tour desk. The property invites guests to watch sunrise when the weather is ideal.

Carol was so helpful. She arranged a taxi for myself and my friend when we arrived at the train station, and the driver took us to an ATM to get cash out. She was always on hand to help with any queries or concerns. The set up of the hostel breakfast/dinner allowed us to meet other people and have an enjoyable rural experience.

She cooks wonderful meals for breakfast and evening dinner, she sorts out your itineraries and is very knowledgeable of the area. Yuelu is 3 minutes from the park entrance. the room itself is lovely. I have traveled a lot and am hard pushed to find a better place to stay. Mary also has top tips on magical quieter places to visit and my word, they are worth it. I can’t speak highly enough.

And close proximity to the Zhangjiajie National Park. Service was first class. Rain & Frankie always responded promptly to our requests. They also helped with our tour plan and entrance tickets. Food was delicious and freshly prepared. We also enjoyed the tea tasting at the resort and the high quality flower tea available there.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet area which is a nice relief from the busy cities. Great rooms and amazing view from the balcony. The staff were amazing and so helpful. They gave us great advice for what to do in the park and which routes are best to take. Would recommend to any one wanting to visiting Zhangjiajie!!

Though there's no lift, staff is very helpful to help on the luggages. The owner, Mr Yang, was helpful to provide advice on the nearby facilities like massage parlour which he highlighted we should go a bit further than use the nearby lanes.
